Samsung French Door Refrigerator
The design and colour of the fridge are what drew us to initially look at purchasing this fridge. One of the features of the fridge is the accessible area inside one of the fridge doors to store items used frequently without having the need to fully open the fridge door. The fridge has a good internal layout with plenty of storage capacity.

Love this Samsung Fridge 🥰
Too many features to rate thrm all. Love the new inside ice trays. Scoop n go. No more dropped ice on the floor. Auto fill water jug is terrific. Bespoke Greyish/White doors match perfectly with my kitchen bench. Ample spacious interior and no more dragging the fridge out to change the filter with the easy inside filter.

Love it.
Love how there is plenty of ice the water is inside it’s an amazing feature. Only downfall is the door doesn’t close easy. You need to make sure it’s totally closed.

Seamless Fridge
This colour is amazing in a white kitchen. Fits in so well. The multifunction access door to drinks area and the double door wide access for larger things are fantastic. Each single door allows access to slide out draw so only need to open one door. Great having so much ice. Only downside is sometimes ice cubes miss the trays and end up on a lower shelf.

EXTREMELY HAPPY
After previously owning a Samsung fridge with water and ice dispensers and having issues , I was very nervous to again purchase another Samsung fridge. To my delight , they have rectified the set up of these features and to say I'm happy is an understatement. Love the look of this fridge and the size internally is greatly improved with the new placement of the dispensers. Bigger vege crispers and wider door shelves make this fridge feel so much bigger and is a better use of the space. Very efficient, super cold and retains cold with the extra door where the water is. Automatic water filling is super helpful. Overall so happy and can highly recommend :)

At a glance
The Samsung 648L French Door Refrigerator is a high-capacity family fridge suited to large households, bulk buyers and frequent entertainers. Its wide shelves, big bottle bins, dual auto ice maker and internal ice and water dispenser make daily use easy and practical. All-around Cooling supports more even temperatures across the cabinet. One limitation is its 3.5 star energy rating, which is solid but not especially high for shoppers prioritising lower running costs.

Things to consider
It offers strong storage and convenience features, but its 3.5 star energy rating may be less appealing than higher-rated alternatives for buyers focused on minimising energy use.
Family suitability score
9/10 - Very well suited to large households thanks to its 648L capacity, roomy freezer and family-friendly bottle storage.
Entertaining suitability
9/10 - Wide shelves, platter-friendly layout, dual auto ice maker and internal water access make it strong for hosting.
Fresh food storage performance
8/10 - The 389L fridge section and all-around cooling support strong day-to-day fresh food storage for busy homes.
Energy efficiency vs category
6/10 - 3.5 star energy rating is reasonable for a large French door fridge, but not standout against more efficiency-focused models.
Kitchen space fit
Best for larger kitchens with enough clearance for full-width French doors and a high-capacity family fridge footprint.
Key benefits
- 648l total capacity: Large overall storage suits bigger households and reduces the need to cram in weekly or bulk grocery shops.
- 389l fridge space: Generous fresh food capacity gives more room for everyday groceries, meal prep containers and larger platters.
- 259l freezer space: Spacious freezer storage helps families keep frozen staples, meats and batch-cooked meals organised.
- French door layout: Wide shelving makes it easier to store pizza boxes, trays and bulky containers without awkward stacking.
- Dual auto ice maker: Produces ice automatically so households and guests have ready access to ice with less manual refilling.
- Internal ice and water dispenser: Delivers chilled water and ice on demand while keeping the exterior look clean.
- Big bottle door bins: Holds large milk and soft drink bottles in the door to free up main shelf space.
- All-around cooling: Helps maintain even temperatures throughout the fridge to better support consistent food freshness.
Q: Will the 3.5 star energy rating keep running costs low?
A: Samsung SRFX7600W has a 3.5 star energy rating. That is reasonable for a 648L French door fridge, but a similar 648L fridge with a higher rating will generally cost less to run, so it is not the strongest choice for energy-focused buyers.
Q: Is the freezer section large enough for bulk frozen groceries?
A: Yes. The freezer offers 259L of space, which suits large grocery shops, meal prep and party food better than many smaller fridge layouts. It is a strong fit if frozen storage matters, not just fresh food capacity.
Q: Can wide shelves fit platters and pizza boxes more easily?
A: Yes. The French door layout gives a wider shelf span, so platters, pizza boxes and broad containers are easier to place flat instead of turning them sideways. It is better suited to entertaining items than a narrower fridge layout.
Q: Does the internal ice and water dispenser reduce usable fridge space?
A: Not heavily. Samsung SRFX7600W keeps ice and water access inside the cabinet, so there is no bulky dispenser built into the outer door. The trade-off is that the ice and water system still uses some internal room.
Q: How does All-around Cooling help with everyday food storage?
A: All-around Cooling helps keep temperatures more even across the fridge, so items are less likely to sit in noticeably warmer or colder spots. It supports day-to-day food storage, but overpacking can still reduce airflow.
Q: Are the door bins actually useful for large milk bottles?
A: Yes. The big bottle door bins are designed to hold larger milk, juice or soft drink bottles, which frees the main shelves for trays and containers. That makes the 389L fridge section easier to organise after a big shop.
