Fast Charging Made Convenient
You may not notice a dramatic difference in charging speed, but it is still noticeably fast and stable. The long USB-C to USB-C cable is a big plus, making it convenient to use even when the power outlet is far away. Overall, it’s a reliable fast-charging set that works especially well with Samsung devices.

Solid charger
This is a heavy duty, super fast samsung charger. It is quite heavy, so I use the portable charger for travel, and use this charger at home as its super fast, but doesn't heat up.

Things to consider
It is a strong single-device fast charger, but premium alternatives may offer multiple ports or higher wattage for charging more devices at once.
Fast charging suitability
High for compatible USB-C PD 3.0 and PPS devices, including supported Samsung phones
Multi-device compatibility
Compatible with USB-C phones, tablets and some laptops, but charges one device at a time
Travel suitability
8/10 - compact and light at 115.4 g, though it is still a wall charger rather than a multi-port travel hub

Ease of use score

Key benefits
- 45W USB-C charging: Delivers up to 45W output for faster charging on compatible devices.
- USB-C PD PPS support: Works well with compatible Samsung devices that support USB-C PD PPS fast charging.
- 1.8 m USB-C to USB-C cable: Gives extra reach for desks, bedside tables and living areas.
- Single USB-C port: Keeps charging simple for modern USB-C phones, tablets and accessories.
- Broad device support: Suitable for compatible phones, tablets and some laptops using USB-C.
- Lower-wattage device charging: Safely charges smaller USB-C devices without needing a separate low-power charger.
- Compact body: Easy to store in a drawer, backpack or laptop bag.
- 115.4 g weight: Light enough to carry daily between home, office and travel.
Q: Will this charger give my phone the full 45W speed?
A: No. Samsung 45W Power Adaptor reaches its highest charging speed on compatible devices that support USB PD 3.0 and PPS direct charging. Phones or tablets with lower charging limits will still charge safely, just at their own maximum rate.
Q: Can it charge a USB-C laptop as well as phones?
A: Yes, some USB-C laptops can charge from this adaptor if they support USB-C Power Delivery and can accept 45W or less. Larger laptops that need more power may charge slowly, hold charge only, or may not charge properly at all.
Q: Does the included cable support the charger's fastest charging mode?
A: Yes. The box includes a Samsung USB-C to USB-C cable designed to be used with this 45W adaptor for the best chance of full charging performance. Swapping to a lower-spec cable can reduce speed, even when the adaptor stays the same.
Q: What is the real difference between Samsung 25W and 45W chargers?
A: The main difference is headroom. A 45W charger can supply more power to compatible devices, but a phone that tops out below 45W will not charge faster just because the adaptor is rated higher.
Q: Is this an original Samsung 45W charger and cable?
A: Yes. This is a Samsung-branded wall charger and USB-C to USB-C cable sold as model 11901317558, also listed as EP-T4511XBEGAU. That matters for fit and charging standards, because generic USB-C chargers do not always support Samsung fast charging modes.
Q: Will it safely charge lower-power USB-C devices and accessories?
A: Yes. This adaptor can charge lower-wattage USB-C devices safely and does not force 45W into a device that cannot use it. The connected device negotiates the power it can accept, so smaller accessories draw less than a phone or tablet.
