Perfect in every way
No kettle is silent but this is certainly very quiet. A water level indicator on both sides of the kettle. A blue light that comes on to highlight the water level when the kettle is turned on. A pour spout that doesn’t finish with annoying drips. A push button to open the lid for easy filling. I’m in love with this showpiece. I found myself having more cups of tea simply so I can use the kettle. There was one aspect that I thought was a fault but I was later proved wrong. When the kettle sits on the base, it didn’t sit perfectly flat and wobbled a bit. I thought this was poor. I took it back to the store for return but once in the store, I checked all other kettles of all different brands and they all seemed to wobble to various degrees. Okay, not great but seems to be what it is. I kept my kettle although kept my eye on it. As it turns out the power button in the middle of the base plate is somehow spring loaded and it’s the strength of the spring that kept the kettle a bit ‘up’ and not seated firmly. A few weeks later, the kettle now settles flat on the base. So there was never really a problem, just a short period required for things to settle in. Ticked all boxes and an extra tick for keeping me happy.
