Q: Can I use this unflued heater in a bedroom?
A: No. This unflued heater is intended for ventilated living spaces, not bedrooms or sealed rooms. It is better suited to open living areas where fresh air is available during use, rather than smaller closed spaces.
Q: Is this model natural gas only or LPG?
A: This AV25N3 is the natural gas version. The Avenger 25 range is also offered in LPG, but this product is the NG model, so buyers wanting bottled gas use should choose the LPG version instead of assuming this one converts.
Q: What room size does the Avenger 25 cover in winter?
A: Rinnai Avenger 25 is rated to heat 63m² in cold conditions, 85m² in cool conditions, and 97m² in mild conditions. For winter buying decisions, the cold-climate figure is the safer guide than the highest room-size claim.
Q: Will it suit a large open plan living area?
A: Yes. Rinnai Avenger 25 is designed for medium to large open spaces and has a 6.3kW output. It is a stronger match for open plan living than for compact rooms, where the heat may feel excessive for the space.
Q: How much gas does it use on low and high?
A: Rinnai AV25N3 uses 8.5MJ/h on low and 25MJ/h on high. That range gives more control over running cost and heat output, but actual gas spend still depends on local tariffs and how long the heater is used each day.
