Would have given it a 5 if it was wireless
It is a great camera with good features. Only one minus point is that its wired. In todays day and age where everything is getting wireless with the use of good batteries, this wired device already feels old technology. If its battery operated, this will be 5 stars.

Awesome video quality
This Ring camera has awesome quality, absolutely blew my mind. I have a different system and the quality is OK but this Ring cam is amazing. Even night time is so clear and easily able to make out what you are looking at. The light is super bright as well, light up my whole front yard, which isn't huge. I do like that you can communicate with your voice, that's pretty neat. If my wife is outside I can talk with her. It picks up motion great too, any small movement the cam senses it. On to installation, it was a pretty easy process. Did require a electrician to set up. Overall, this is a great camera.

I was given the Ring Floodlight Camera Wired Plus to try and review. Overall it is a very good product! The setup was really easy and straightforward using the Ring app on my phone after it was installed by a licensed electrician. The video quality is outstanding be it in daytime or nighttime. Also, I can see whats happening in our front yard wherever I am thanks to the Ring app and it works well with the product no glitch so far! The floodlights are really bright and can be turn on and off using the app as well. Compact and looks great in our front area. Definitely worth it and highly recommended!

Excellent Video and Sound Quality
This is our home's first security camera which we bought for the intention of monitoring our puppy whenever she is left at home alone. The setup of the camera was very easy and it has some great functions. The wide angle lens captures the majority of our deck and garden. The microphone is very sensitive but eliminates most background noise. The floodlight is VERY bright but can be dimmed in the app. The Ring app itself is enhances the functionality of the camera, allowing you to set some adjustments to suit your needs, like floodlight sensitivity and Geo-fencing. I like the auto-capture function, where an image is taken at a set frequency and the video recording when there is motion detected. I am current on a 30 day free trial of the Ring Protect Plan so I don't know if I will lose the video-recording when this expires. My kids loved the 2-way talk function but I don't think I will use it much for the back garden. I will probably invest in another unit for the front of the house in the near future. The only things that would improve this unit is a motorized camera (allowing you to move the camera in-app). As above, I'm not sure if I will lose any functions when the trial subscription expires. This may determine whether or not I sign up for the Ring Protect Plan.
