Must have item if you have a ring door bell. Although you can access notifications on your phone your phone may not be close by at all times . With the addition of the door bell it can be heard by anyone throughout the home. I would strongly recommend purchasing this with your doorbell. It’s easy to install and can be installed anywhere in your home.
