Time to collect CD packages.
Delivered as planned. Works fine for Ps5 Digital edition. Sony will not issue package game any more soon. Time to collect disc games for my own.

amazing product
Bought this for my PS5 Pro since it doesn’t come with one built-in. Easy to attach, registered to the console in about 2 minutes online, and now all my physical PS4/PS5 games work perfectly. Bit pricey for what it is, but if you’ve got a disc collection it’s a must-have. Good Guys had stock when others didn’t. Happy with the purchase.

Q: Which PS5 consoles is this Disc Drive compatible with?
A: This Disc Drive is designed for the newer PS5 Digital Edition console that supports an add-on drive. It is not for the original launch PS5 Digital Edition model with a fixed shell design, so matching the console generation is the key check before buying.
Q: Does this Disc Drive let a PS5 Digital Edition play physical game and movie discs?
A: Yes. When fitted to a compatible PS5 Digital Edition console, it adds an optical drive for supported PS5 and PS4 game discs, plus Blu-ray and DVD movie playback. It is the hardware needed if buying or borrowing physical discs matters to you.
Q: Can this drive play 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray movies on a compatible PS5 Digital Edition?
A: Yes. On a compatible PS5 Digital Edition, this add-on drive enables Ultra HD Blu-ray movie playback as well as standard Blu-ray and DVD discs. It is the main difference between staying all-digital and adding physical movie support.
Q: Do you need an internet connection to set up the PS5 Disc Drive?
A: Yes. An internet connection is required when pairing the Disc Drive with a compatible PS5 Digital Edition console for the first time. That matters if the console will be used somewhere with limited or no network access during initial setup.
Q: Is this the same as buying a standard PS5 console with a built-in disc drive?
A: No. This is an add-on optical drive for a compatible PS5 Digital Edition console, not a complete console. It gives disc playback functionality, but you still need the correct PS5 Digital Edition model to attach it and use physical discs.
