Excellent electric toothbrush
These Philips toothbrush heads last well. The brush handle has excellent battery life - a charge lasts much longer than my wife’s toothbrush of another brand. I like the side way vibration rather than the circular motion of most brushes.

- Plaque Removal Efficiency: Removes up to 7x more plaque than a manual toothbrush for improved oral hygiene.
- BrushSync Mode Pairing: Automatically selects optimal mode when used with compatible Sonicare handles for easy use.
- Click-On Design: Simple attachment and removal for quick brush head changes.
- Standard Size: Suitable for most adult users and compatible with a wide range of Philips Sonicare handles.

Q: Which Philips Sonicare toothbrushes fit these W2 Optimal White heads?
A: These brush heads fit Philips Sonicare handles that use the click-on attachment system, including ranges such as DiamondClean, ProtectiveClean and HealthyWhite. They are not a universal fit across every Sonicare handle, so the attachment style matters.
Q: Will these fit older Sonicare handles with screw-on brush heads?
A: No. Philips Sonicare W2 Optimal White heads use a click-on connection, so they are not the right choice for older screw-on handles. If your current head twists on rather than clicking into place, this pack will not attach properly.
Q: How often should the W2 Optimal White heads be replaced?
A: Philips recommends changing these brush heads every 3 months. In a 4 pack, that covers around 12 months for one regular user, or one change each for up to 4 people if each person has their own head.
Q: Are these a good option for braces or sensitive gums?
A: Not usually. The W2 design focuses on stain removal with densely packed, diamond-shaped bristles, rather than a softer or orthodontic-specific layout. A specialised sensitive or orthodontic brush head is the better fit for those needs.
Q: Is the standard brush head size suitable for smaller mouths?
A: It can be, but the standard head gives broader tooth coverage and may feel larger if you prefer a more compact brush. Buyers who want a smaller brushing surface may find a compact-style Sonicare head easier to position around back teeth.
