Just what I needed
Elderly mum lives in a 1 bedroom flat and keeps buying heaters because they don't warm her up enough. This heater has finally done the job that so many others couldn't pull off.

Amazing heater, Great quality, Variety of settings!
This heater is top quality.. I previously had the shorter version of the same heater which also works well... but the height of this heater effectively distributes heat throughout the room. It has a digital face, eco mode to save energy, and a timer delay, good to have but I don't use the timer a lot. I had prior heaters that overload and burn out within 6 months but this is my 3rd one I purchased for myself of this heater, fir different family members, due to its good quality, durability and effectiveness. If you like to get warm quickly or be able to adjust heater settings instantly, I highly recommend this product!

At a glance
The Olimpia Splendid Caldostile 2200W Ceramic Heater is a portable tower-style heater for bedrooms, studies and living areas up to 25 m². It suits households wanting fast spot heating, easy controls and extra safety features like tip-over protection. Its oscillation and remote add everyday convenience. The main limitation is that it is better for small to medium rooms than large open-plan spaces.

Things to consider
It is a strong option for portable room heating, but it is not the best choice for very large or open-plan areas where a higher-capacity or whole-room heating solution may perform better.
Small room suitability
Excellent for small rooms and well suited to medium rooms up to 25 m²
Energy efficiency score
6/10 - ceramic heating is effective for fast spot heating, but 2200W output can use more power than lower-wattage heaters if run for long periods
Noise level vs category average
5/10 - typical for a ceramic fan heater, with some audible fan noise during operation
Safety features score
8/10 - includes a tip-over switch and anti-ice function for added everyday safety and cold-weather protection
Portability rating
8/10 - lightweight build and built-in grip make it easy to move from room to room
Key benefits
- 2200W Ceramic Heating: Delivers strong, fast warmth for small to medium rooms when you need quick spot heating.
- Up to 25 m² Coverage: Well suited to bedrooms, studies and compact living spaces without needing a larger heater.
- 90° Oscillation: Helps spread warm air across a wider part of the room for more even comfort nearby.
- Remote Control: Lets you adjust settings from your bed, desk or sofa without getting up.
- Touch Screen Display: Makes timer and heat settings simple to view and change.
- Variable Heat Settings and Thermostat: Gives you better control over comfort throughout changing winter conditions.
- Lightweight Design with Built-in Grip: Easier to carry between rooms for flexible day-to-night heating.
- Tip-Over Switch and Anti-Ice Function: Adds reassurance during regular household use and colder weather.
Q: Will this heater suit a large open-plan living area?
A: No. CALDOSTILE DT is better suited to enclosed small to medium rooms than a large open-plan space. Its 2200W ceramic element is designed for quick spot heating, so warmth will disperse faster and feel less even in a bigger, open area.
Q: How expensive is the Caldostile DT to run each hour?
A: On its highest heat setting, CALDOSTILE DT draws 2200W. That can be relatively costly if used continuously, so it makes more sense for targeted room heating, or for use with the thermostat and lower heat settings instead of all-day whole-home use.
Q: Does the oscillation help heat the whole room more evenly?
A: Yes. CALDOSTILE DT uses 90 degree oscillation to move warm air across a wider part of the room instead of one narrow stream. It helps coverage in a bedroom, study or small living room, but it is not a substitute for whole-home heating.
Q: Is the Olimpia Splendid ceramic heater noisy in a bedroom?
A: It uses a fan to push warm air, so some operating noise is normal. CALDOSTILE DT is more like a typical ceramic fan heater than a silent radiant heater, which suits buyers who want quicker room heating more than completely quiet operation.
Q: Can I move this heater between rooms during the day?
A: Yes. CALDOSTILE DT has a lightweight design and a built-in grip, so it is made for easy room-to-room use. It suits portable spot heating in spaces like a bedroom or study, rather than staying in one larger area as the main heat source.
Q: Does the dust filter reduce mess inside the heater?
A: Yes. The dust filter helps catch some dust moving through the heater, which can help keep the internal airflow path cleaner. It does not replace normal room cleaning, and performance can drop if the filter is left dirty for long periods.
