Absolutely love it!
It gets used almost everyday in a cold office. The auto cut-out feature is amazing, and the heat it produces is amazing. The temperature setting is also an feature. Would highly recommend to those in an office that feel the cold.

Great for small areas
We have a motorhome in which we live & wanted something small that would keep us warm at night. This is why we purchased the Olimpia ceramic Heater. It has been excellent & cuts in & out & does a really great job. Some people have said that it is noisy but it doesnt keep us awake. We sleep soundly & we r very happy with the product.

At a glance
The Olimpia Splendid Caldostile is a compact 2000W ceramic heater built for quick spot heating in small to medium rooms such as bedrooms, offices and caravans. Its strengths are easy temperature control, oscillation, remote convenience and useful safety features. It suits buyers wanting portable everyday warmth, but it is less ideal for heating large open spaces for long periods.
What it’s great for
- Spot Heating
- Bedroom Heating
- Home Office Comfort
- Caravan Use
- Shared Seating Areas
Where it works best
- Bedroom
- Home Office
- Small Living Area
- Caravan
- Study
Who it’s for

- Caravan Owner
- Everyday Household User
Things to consider
Best suited to small to medium spaces; premium panel heaters or larger tower models may deliver quieter operation or more even whole-room heating in bigger areas.
Small room suitability
Excellent for small rooms and suitable for some medium rooms where quick spot heating is the priority.
Energy efficiency score
6/10 - typical for a 2000W resistive electric heater; timer and thermostat help manage usage, but full power draw is about 2 kWh per hour.
Noise level vs category average
5/10 - expected to be about average for a ceramic fan heater because fan-forced airflow usually creates noticeable operating noise.
Safety features score
8/10 - includes anti-turn over protection and anti-ice function, plus controlled thermostat operation.
Portability rating
8/10 - compact design makes it easy to move between a bedroom, office or caravan as needed.
Key benefits
- 2000W Ceramic Heating: Delivers fast spot heating for small to medium rooms when you want warmth quickly.
- Oscillation: Spreads warm air across a wider area so heat reaches more than one seating position.
- Digital Thermostat: Lets you set and maintain a more precise comfort temperature than basic dial heaters.
- Touch Screen Display: Makes everyday setting changes simple and easy to read.
- Remote Control: Allows you to adjust heat settings without leaving your bed, desk or lounge.
- Anti-Turn Over Switch: Adds peace of mind by helping shut the heater off if it tips over.
- 24-Hour Timer: Helps schedule heating around your routine instead of running continuously.
- Power Use at Full Output: Uses about 2 kWh per hour at maximum heat, giving a clear guide to running cost expectations.
Q: How much electricity does this heater use on full power?
A: Olimpia Splendid Caldostile D uses about 2 kWh of electricity per hour when running continuously at full power. Actual use can be lower when the thermostat cycles the heater off and on instead of heating at maximum the whole time.
Q: Is this heater suitable for a large open-plan living area?
A: No. Olimpia Splendid Caldostile D is better suited to small to medium rooms and quick spot heating than a large open-plan area. In a bigger space, warm air can disperse quickly, so the heating effect will feel more local than whole-room.
Q: Can the Caldostile D hold a set room temperature?
A: Yes. Olimpia Splendid Caldostile D has a digital thermostat, so it can work toward a selected temperature rather than only running at one fixed heat level. That gives more control in a bedroom or office where conditions change through the day.
Q: Does the oscillation help heat more than one seat area?
A: Yes. The oscillation function sweeps warm air across a wider section of the room instead of pushing it into one fixed spot. It is useful for shared seating spaces, but it still works best as targeted heating rather than whole-home heating.
Q: Can you use this heater without the remote control?
A: Yes. Olimpia Splendid Caldostile D has a touch screen display on the heater itself, so the remote is optional rather than essential. If the remote is not nearby, temperature and function changes can still be made directly on the unit.
Q: Does the dust filter make this heater an air purifier?
A: No. The dust filter helps catch dust moving through the heater and can help keep the unit operating cleanly, but it is not the same as a dedicated air purifier. Its main job is heating, with the filter acting as a support feature rather than core air cleaning.
