Very loud and smells like burning
This product has been very disappointing. It was meant to have been an upgrade from the NutriBullet we had, but it's much louder and smells like burning as soon as we use it, even when only blending soft stuff.

Much better than the standard model
Great unit. Had the old standard unit for years and it worked great. Upgraded to this and it’s a lot better. Little quieter plus the stock cups are larger.

At a glance
The NUTRIBULLET Ultra 1200 Blender is a compact personal blender built for quick smoothies, shakes and simple prep at home. It suits singles or couples who want strong blending power, easy takeaway cups and straightforward cleaning. Its main strengths are the 1200W motor, pulse control and dishwasher-safe cups. The main limitation is its smaller capacity, which is less suited to larger family batches.

Key benefits
- 1200w motor: Delivers strong blending power for smoothies, frozen fruit, nuts and fibrous ingredients.
- Titanium-coated extractor blade: Designed for rapid blending and improved durability during regular use.
- Touch controls: Makes it easy to switch between automated blending and pulse mode.
- Pulse function: Gives better control for chunkier textures in dips, dressings and other recipes.
- Tritan renew cups with flip top lids: Lets you blend and take drinks on the go with fewer transfers.
- Dishwasher-safe cups: Simplifies cleanup after everyday use.
- Compact benchtop design: Fits more easily into smaller kitchens and busy bench spaces.
- Single or double serve capacity: Well matched to personal use or preparing drinks for two.
Q: Is this blender big enough for two smoothies at once?
A: Yes. Nutribullet Ultra 1200 is designed for single or double serves, and its maximum blending capacity is 1L. That suits a couple of smoothies or shakes in one go, but it is not the right pick for large family batches.
Q: Can it handle ice, frozen fruit and nuts well?
A: Yes. Nutribullet Ultra 1200 uses a 1200W motor and a rapid extractor blade with titanium coating to work through ice, frozen fruit, nuts and fibrous ingredients. It is built for quick personal portions rather than repeated large-batch prep.
Q: Does pulse mode help keep dips and dressings chunkier?
A: Yes. Pulse mode gives more control when you want a chunkier result for dips, dressings or salsas, instead of a fully smooth blend. It is still a personal blender, so the best results come from smaller prep jobs rather than party-sized batches.
Q: What controls does the Ultra 1200 use for blending?
A: Nutribullet Ultra 1200 uses touch controls with an automated blend option and a pulse function. It does not offer multiple manual speed levels, so recipe control is simpler and quicker, but less adjustable than a blender built around variable speeds.
Q: Can this replace a full-size blender for family batches?
A: No. Nutribullet Ultra 1200 is designed around single or double serves, so it suits smoothies, shakes, dips and dressings in smaller amounts. If most use is soups, sauces or drinks for several people at once, its format will feel limiting.
