The heater worked for three days only. This item is faulty and I will be returning it for a replacement when my daughter returns from overseas I am 84 years old and cannot return it myself. I telephoned your Brighton Store and spoke to Amy to report the issue on 31st August.

Panel heater
I am very happy with this heater. It warms up quickly, and although it’s more expensive than other brands, the lifetime warranty makes it worth it.

At a glance
The Noirot 2400W Spot Plus is a silent panel heater designed for people who want steady warmth in bedrooms, bathrooms or home offices up to 24m2. Its strengths are quiet fan-free heating, flexible portable or wall-mounted use, and practical safety features. A fair limitation is that it does not include smart connectivity or remote control convenience.

Small room suitability
Very good - strong coverage for small rooms and suitable for spaces up to 24m2

Key benefits
- 2400W Heating Output: Delivers strong electric heating performance for rooms up to 24m2.
- Fan-Free Operation: Provides totally silent heating, making it well suited to sleep spaces and focused work areas.
- Precision Thermostat: Helps maintain your chosen temperature more consistently for steady day-to-day comfort.
- Portable or Wall-Mounted Design: Gives you flexibility to move it between rooms or install it in a fixed position.
- Variable Heating Settings: Lets you adjust warmth levels to better suit changing weather and room needs.
- Thermal Cut-Off: Adds protection by shutting the heater down if it overheats.
- Child Safety Lock: Helps prevent unintended setting changes in family areas.
- Anti-Freeze Protection: Helps maintain a low background temperature in colder conditions.
Q: Can this Noirot heater be used freestanding or wall mounted?
A: Yes. This model can sit on the included castors for portable use or be fixed with the pre-attached wall bracket. That gives more flexibility for renters or for rooms where saving floor space matters.
Q: Is the 2400W model suitable for a larger bedroom?
A: Yes. Noirot 7358-8 is rated for rooms up to 24m2, which suits a double bedroom or similar enclosed space. In a larger or more open area, heating coverage may feel less concentrated than in a closed room.
Q: Can this heater be scheduled with a timer, remote or app?
A: No. This heater does not include a built-in timer, remote control or Wi-Fi, so on and off scheduling is manual. It suits buyers who want simple controls more than those wanting automated heating routines.
Q: Can this panel heater be installed in a bathroom?
A: Yes, this model is intended for spaces such as bathrooms where quiet heat is preferred. For permanent bathroom installation, the final wall position and electrical connection need to suit the room location, so discuss placement with your electrician.
Q: How quiet is this panel heater in a bedroom?
A: Noirot 7358-8 uses no fan, so it heats without fan noise. That suits bedrooms, studies and other quiet spaces where a constant rush of air would be distracting, but it is still a convection-style heater rather than a radiant bar heater.
Q: Does the thermostat keep the room temperature fairly steady?
A: Yes. The precision thermostat is designed to maintain the temperature you set, so the heater does not need constant manual adjustment. Variable heat settings also give more control as room conditions change through the day.
Q: What safety features are built into the Noirot Spot Plus?
A: Noirot Spot Plus includes a thermal cut-off, child safety lock and anti-freeze protection. Those features are aimed at controlled everyday use, but this is still a fixed-wattage electric heater rather than a smart model with remote monitoring.
