The heater worked for three days only. This item is faulty and I will be returning it for a replacement when my daughter returns from overseas I am 84 years old and cannot return it myself. I telephoned your Brighton Store and spoke to Amy to report the issue on 31st August.

I am very happy with this heater. It warms up quickly, and although it’s more expensive than other brands, the lifetime warranty makes it worth it.

- Simple Controls: Easy-to-use manual controls make operation straightforward for all users.
- Wall-Mountable: Can be mounted on the wall to free up floor space.

Q: Is 2400W enough for an open-plan living area?
A: This heater is sized for rooms up to 24m2. It can suit a contained lounge or open-plan section of that size, but a larger open area may need more than one heat source to keep temperatures consistent across the whole space.
Q: Can I use it freestanding or mount it on the wall?
A: Yes. This model can be used on the included castors for portable heating or mounted using the wall bracket attached to the back. Wall mounting saves floor space, while freestanding use is easier if you want to move it between rooms.
Q: Does the Noirot heater have a timer or remote control?
A: No. This model does not include a remote control, and on or off scheduling is manual rather than timer-based. It suits buyers who want simple controls, but not those wanting programmed heating times from the heater itself.
Q: Is this heater quiet enough for a bedroom or study?
A: Yes. Noirot 7358-8 uses fan-free panel heating, so it does not add fan noise while running. That makes it a practical choice for bedrooms, home offices and other rooms where background noise can be distracting.
Q: What safety features does this panel heater include?
A: This heater includes thermal cut off, a child safety lock and anti-freeze protection. That covers overheating protection and helps prevent setting changes, but it still needs normal heater clearances and sensible placement during use.
Q: Can the Noirot Spot Plus be installed in a bathroom?
A: Yes, it is designed to suit bathrooms, but the final position matters. For a fixed installation, the location still needs to meet Australian electrical safety rules for wet areas, so placement should be discussed with your electrician.
Q: Why does this heater feel different from a fan heater?
A: This panel heater warms without a fan, using a finned grill to spread heat more evenly across the room. The trade-off is gentler, quieter heating rather than the stronger direct airflow you get from a fan-driven heater.
