Recently with gas prices going through the roof and being in an old "airy" victorian weatherboard terrace, I decided to turn off the central gas during the day time and only heat the spaces I use - especially when working from home. I investigated several options and really didn't want to commit to upgrading and replacing the old inefficient reverse cycle system (at least not yet). So I read the reviews, and went to the store, and picked this marvelous panel heater up. It is quiet, and it heats up my study (3m x 4.3m) and my living area 4 x 4.3m comparatively quickly and as all the other reviews say it's a lovely toasty warm, not the dry heat warm you get with reverse cycle. It's very quiet and very easy to operate. I use it on its castors, but it also has the option to wall mount. Since I've installed it I've reduced my gas heating costs by 15-20% per day - but please bear in mind it's an old house and not that thermally sound. I am extremely happy with my purchase and despite the higher price believe I got very good value in my purchase.
