The MSI 32" FHD 250Hz Curved Gaming Monitor is a large-format display built for gamers who want smooth, immersive visuals and fast response times. Its 250Hz refresh rate and curved design make it ideal for competitive and action-packed games. While it excels in speed and size, its Full HD resolution may not satisfy users seeking ultra-sharp detail for creative work.

Gaming suitability score
9/10 - Exceptional refresh rate and response time, ideal for competitive gaming.
Home office fit
Moderate - Large size is immersive but Full HD resolution limits workspace clarity.

- Wide Viewing Angle: Maintains consistent colours and clarity from different positions.
- Low Input Lag: Provides near-instantaneous response for competitive advantage.
- AMD FreeSync Support: Minimises screen tearing and stutter for smoother gameplay.

Q: Is Full HD sharp enough on a 31.5 inch screen?
A: For gaming, yes. MSI pairs the 1920 x 1080 panel with a large 31.5 inch screen and 250Hz refresh rate, but text and fine detail will look less crisp than on a QHD or 4K monitor of a similar size.
Q: Does HDR10 on this monitor make games look truly HDR?
A: MSI supports HDR10, so HDR-compatible games and video can show a wider brightness range than standard SDR. With 300 nits peak brightness, expect a basic HDR effect rather than the stronger highlight detail seen on brighter monitors.
Q: Can I use this curved monitor with a PS5 or Xbox?
A: Yes. The monitor has two HDMI 2.0 inputs, so a PS5 or Xbox can connect directly without an adapter. Its screen is Full HD rather than 4K, so console gaming here is about screen size and speed, not maximum resolution.
Q: What adjustment options does the stand actually give you?
A: The stand tilts from -5 to +20 degrees, which helps angle the screen to suit your desk height. Height, swivel and pivot adjustment are not listed for this model, so ergonomic setup flexibility is more limited than on a fully adjustable stand.
Q: Will this monitor fit a wall mount or monitor arm?
A: Yes. MSI uses a 100 x 100 VESA mount pattern, which is the common size for many monitor arms and wall brackets. Check that the mount supports a 31.5 inch display, because VESA size alone does not confirm load compatibility.
Q: Can I plug headphones into the monitor for console audio?
A: Yes. MSI includes an earphone out, so wired headphones or external speakers can connect through the monitor instead of the source device. It is an audio output only, so it is not a microphone or USB headset connection.
Q: Is AMD FreeSync Premium useful if I game on NVIDIA?
A: MSI lists AMD FreeSync Premium support for variable refresh gaming. NVIDIA adaptive sync compatibility is not listed for this model, so treat that feature as confirmed for supported AMD setups and as a standard high-refresh monitor for other graphics cards.
