Great phone for the price :)
Really happy with the Motorola G86 Power. The Cosmic Sky colour looks really nice, and the phone feels fast and snappy to use. Battery life has been great so far, and overall it’s a really good phone. Very happy with the purchase.

Stylish and nice to use
Upgraded from another brand and happy to have done to change. I like the phone and it feels nice and light and in use and all the functions are easy to use. The camera functions are cool as well.

G86 Power - A Great Midrange Phone
This phone had everything I required - 8GB Ram(+4 GB Boost), SD card, takes eSims, NFC, Good Cameras, no bloatware, all with no lag. My only disappointment was to discover there is no charger supplied and after purchasing a Turbocharger it is still quite slow to charge. Motorola recommend only charging between 20% to 80% for battery longevity which seriously reduces the capacity of the large 6720mAh battery. Overall but a good phone for a reasonable price.

Things to consider
It delivers strong everyday value, but buyers wanting flagship-grade gaming power or more advanced pro-level camera versatility may prefer a premium model.
Global travel suitability
Good for travel thanks to dual SIM support, long battery life and expandable storage, though network compatibility should still be checked by destination.
Student vs business fit
Better suited to students and everyday users than demanding business users, with strong battery life, media features and practical storage expansion.
Camera performance score
7.8/10 - strong everyday photo performance with a 50MP main camera and 32MP front camera, but not a premium multi-camera system.
Battery endurance rating
9.4/10 - standout endurance thanks to the 6720mAh battery rated for up to 53 hours of typical mixed use.
Key benefits
- 6.7-inch Super HD AMOLED display: Gives you a large, vivid viewing area that is well suited to streaming, reading and maps.
- 4500 nits peak brightness: Helps keep the screen easier to see in very bright conditions.
- 6720mAh battery: Supports up to 53 hours of typical mixed use, making it practical for long days away from a charger.
- 128GB storage with microSD expansion up to 1TB: Gives you more flexibility for storing photos, videos, apps and offline media.
- 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 rear camera: Helps capture clear everyday shots with good detail.
- 32MP front camera: Supports detailed selfies and clearer video calls.
- Dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos: Delivers fuller, more immersive sound for music, videos and games.
- IP68 water and dust resistance: Adds reassurance for everyday use around spills, dust and wet conditions.
Q: Is this a good phone for overseas travel and eSIM use
A: Yes. Motorola g86 Power supports Dual SIM with eSIM support, plus 5G sub-6, LTE and broad satellite navigation compatibility for travel. It suits local and overseas use, but network features still depend on your carrier and destination.
Q: Can I add a microSD card for more photo storage
A: Yes. Motorola g86 Power has 128GB of internal storage and supports a microSD card up to 1TB for extra space. That is useful if you keep large photo libraries, offline media or downloaded maps on the phone.
Q: Does the Motorola g86 Power have optical zoom
A: No. Motorola g86 Power has a capable 50MP main camera and a 32MP front camera, but it does not offer a telephoto lens for true optical zoom. It suits everyday photos and selfies better than distant subjects.
Q: What does IP68 water resistance mean in daily use
A: IP68 means the Motorola g86 Power is built to resist dust, splashes and accidental water exposure in everyday use. It is not described as a swimming or underwater camera phone, so deliberate submersion is not the intended use.
Q: Will the big screen suit reading maps and streaming
A: Yes. The 6.7 inch Super HD AMOLED display gives you more viewing area for maps, articles and video, and the high peak brightness helps outdoors. The trade-off is a larger handset footprint than a smaller-screen phone.
Q: Does this Motorola phone support wireless charging at all
A: No. Motorola g86 Power is aimed at strong battery endurance rather than premium charging extras, and wireless charging is not part of this model. If cable-free charging matters, this is a limitation to weigh before buying.
Q: Are the stereo speakers good enough for videos without headphones
A: Yes. Motorola g86 Power uses dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, which gives fuller sound for video, music and games than a single bottom speaker. It is still a phone speaker setup, so headphones remain better for private listening.
