Q: Does this integrated dishwasher come with a kitchen door panel?
A: No. Miele G 7185 SCVI XXL is supplied as a fully integrated dishwasher without an external door panel. A custom panel needs to be made to match your cabinetry, so factor that into the total installation cost.
Q: Do you have to keep buying PowerDisk refills for AutoDos?
A: Yes, if you want the AutoDos automatic dispensing feature. Miele G 7185 SCVI XXL uses a PowerDisk for that function, so ongoing detergent cost includes refills rather than just a one-off accessory purchase.
Q: Will the XXL cavity fit larger dinner plates and tall glasses?
A: Yes. The XXL cavity gives more vertical room for larger plates and taller stemware, and the 3D MultiFlex tray helps free basket space below. It is still a 60cm dishwasher, so extra-tall items may need the racks adjusted.
Q: Is 43 dBA quiet enough for an open-plan kitchen?
A: Yes. Miele G 7185 SCVI XXL runs at 43 dBA, which is quiet for a full-size dishwasher and suits many open-plan layouts. It will still be audible in a very quiet room, especially during drain and fill stages.
Q: Does QuickPowerWash also dry dishes or only wash them?
A: QuickPowerWash is designed to wash and dry moderately soiled crockery in 58 minutes. It is aimed at everyday loads rather than heavily baked-on food, so tougher messes may suit Intensive 75 °C or PowerWash instead.
Q: What is ExtraQuiet mode on this Miele dishwasher for?
A: ExtraQuiet mode is for lower-noise operation, which can suit late-night runs in open living areas. On Miele G 7185 SCVI XXL, quieter programs usually trade speed for reduced sound, so it is less about fast turnaround.
Q: Can it hold bottles, cups and delicate glassware securely?
A: Yes. Miele G 7185 SCVI XXL includes FlexCare glass holders, FlexCare cup racks and a Glass and Bottle support to organise fragile items more securely. Hand-blown or very thin pieces still need careful placement.
