Q: Does this Microsoft Surface Pro 12" Keyboard fit all Surface Pro models?
A: No. This keyboard is designed for the Surface Pro 12-inch, 1st Edition, so fit and connector alignment should not be assumed across older or larger Surface Pro models. Surface keyboards are model-specific accessories, not universal covers.
Q: Does the Surface Pro 12" Keyboard need Bluetooth pairing to connect?
A: No. This keyboard is made to connect directly to the compatible Surface Pro through the built-in keyboard connection, so there is no separate Bluetooth pairing step. Pairing mode questions usually apply to standalone wireless keyboards, not this type.
Q: Can this keyboard be used as a separate wireless keyboard away from the Surface Pro?
A: No. The Surface Pro 12-inch Keyboard is an attachable accessory for the compatible tablet, not a general wireless keyboard for other devices. It is intended to work as part of the Surface setup rather than as a standalone Bluetooth model.
Q: Is this keyboard mainly for typing, or does it also help protect the Surface Pro screen?
A: It does both. As a Surface keyboard-style cover, it adds laptop-style typing when attached and also folds over the display when closed. It is still an accessory rather than a heavy-duty protective case, so it is not built for rugged drop protection.
