Secret Santa Hit!
Hi G.G. Team, Thank you for this product. It was definitely a hit with our Secret Santa competition. It was hilarious because the person who won the prize was particularly excited by the bottle opener feature. Wasn't even why I bought it. I was thrilled by the solar-powered aspect and the great speaker aspect. Great for camping, BBQs or anywhere you want to have great music and great company. Thank you.

Key benefits
- IP67 Waterproof Rating: Handles poolside splashes, rain and dusty outdoor conditions with more confidence than basic indoor speakers.
- Up to 14 Hours Battery Life: Gives you extended playback for day trips, picnics or long afternoons outside without frequent recharging.
- Solar Charging Panel: Helps extend listening time in direct sunlight, making it useful for camping and outdoor use away from power.
- Bluetooth 5.3: Provides a modern wireless connection for stable music streaming from compatible devices.
- Up to 15 m Wireless Range: Lets you keep your phone nearby but not in your hand while streaming around a campsite or backyard.
- Dual 57 mm Drivers: Supports fuller sound for everyday music listening compared with very small single-driver portable speakers.
- Rear Passive Radiator: Adds more low-end presence to make playlists sound richer outdoors.
- Integrated Bottle Opener: Adds practical convenience for social occasions, barbecues and camping trips.
Q: Is 10W loud enough for a backyard barbecue or campsite?
A: Marley Roots Solar is suited to personal listening and small outdoor groups, not big open spaces. Its 10W output, dual 57mm drivers and passive radiator give clear casual sound, but it is not built for room-filling volume at a large party.
Q: Does the solar panel fully charge the speaker on its own?
A: No. The solar panel helps extend playback when the speaker is in direct sunlight, but USB-C is the more reliable option when you need a proper recharge. Marley Roots Solar is best treated as solar-assisted, not as a solar-only speaker.
Q: Can it handle rain and poolside splashes, or actual submersion too?
A: Yes, Marley Roots Solar has an IP67 waterproof rating, so it suits rain, splashes and wet outdoor use. It is not designed as an underwater speaker, so sound playback and controls are best used above water rather than during submersion.
Q: Does it support calls or voice assistants from the speaker itself?
A: No. Marley Roots Solar does not list voice assistant support, so it is aimed at straightforward music playback rather than hands-free smart control. If voice features matter, use your phone for calls and assistant functions instead.
Q: How far can my phone be before the Bluetooth connection gets unstable?
A: Bluetooth range is up to 15m with a compatible device in a clear line of sight. Walls, bodies and other wireless gear can shorten that distance, so the most stable connection is usually with your phone kept closer nearby.
Q: What do you actually get in the box with this speaker?
A: In the box, Marley Roots Solar includes the speaker, a USB to USB-C charging cable and a quick start guide. A wall charger is not included, so charging depends on a compatible USB power source or direct sunlight for solar assist.
