Good price, efficient delivery.
Good price compared to what I saw elsewhere, efficient delivery. Purchased for new fridge as they need to be replaced routinely. Haven’t needed to use yet, but the one that comes with the fridge seems to be working well thus far.

- Chlorine Reduction: Helps reduce chlorine taste and odour for fresher drinking water.

Q: Will this LG twin pack fit any LG fridge, or only selected FDF models with an internal filter location?
A: No. This filter is intended for selected LG FDF refrigerators that use an internal water filter location. It is not a universal LG fridge filter, so models with an external inline cartridge or a different internal housing will need a different replacement.
Q: What does an internal location mean for this LG water filter?
A: It means the cartridge fits inside the refrigerator rather than on the water line behind the appliance. That matters for compatibility, because internal LG filters use a model-specific housing and locking design that is different from external inline filters.
Q: How long does a twin pack usually last in an LG fridge that uses an internal filter?
A: A twin pack typically covers about 12 months if the filter is changed every 6 months, which is the common replacement interval for fridge water filters. Homes with high water use, sediment or noticeable taste changes may need replacement sooner.
Q: What does this LG internal fridge filter help remove from drinking water and ice?
A: It is designed to reduce common water issues such as chlorine taste, odour and some sediment that can affect drinking water and ice. It is not the same as a whole-house purifier, so it does not turn heavily contaminated water into safe drinking water.
Q: How do you know when an LG internal water filter should be replaced?
A: Typical signs include slower water flow from the dispenser, changes in taste or odour, or the fridge filter reminder appearing. Even if water still looks clear, replacement is usually due at around 6 months to keep filtration performance consistent.
