Quite good
- I personally do not like the motor ect being up near my hand I feel it weights too much and would prefer the weight be down the bottom of the handle near the floor - makes it easier to manoeuvre and less stress on the arm - it also doesn’t stand on its own and the charger base has to be attached to a wall it cannot just be freestanding Otherwise it works really well suction wise

Good stick vacuum
This product works well in tiled floor. Had a good battery life. My only issue is it has to be attached to a wall to charge

At a glance
The LG CordZero A9L-PRIME is a cordless stick vacuum built for everyday cleaning on hard floors, tiles and carpets in mixed-surface homes, including pet-friendly spaces. It suits households wanting easy manoeuvrability, simple wall-mounted storage and solid runtime up to 60 minutes. Key strengths are its lightweight cordless design, 5-step filtration and useful included tools. One limitation is its smaller 0.4L standard bin capacity before compression.
What it’s great for
- Everyday Floor Cleaning
- Mixed-Surface Homes
- Pet-Friendly Households
- Quick Room-to-Room Cleaning
- Apartment and Family Home Maintenance
Where it works best
- Homes with Hard Floors
- Homes with Tiles
- Mixed Carpet and Hard Floor Homes
- Apartments
- Townhouses
Who it’s for
- Pet Owners
- Busy Households
- Apartment Dwellers
- Families
- Everyday Home Cleaners
Things to consider
Its standard 0.4L bin is modest compared with larger or self-emptying premium vacuums, so bigger homes may need more frequent emptying during heavy cleans.
Pet hair performance score
8/10 - pet-friendly design and included tools make it a strong everyday option for picking up pet hair on mixed surfaces.
Carpet vs hard floor suitability
Well suited to both hard floors and carpets for routine household cleaning, with particularly practical use across mixed-surface homes.
Portability rating
9/10 - lightweight cordless format and wall-mounted storage make it easy to carry, manoeuvre and store.
Noise level vs category average
6/10 - at 82 dBA, it is in a typical range for stick vacuums rather than notably quiet.
Allergy friendliness
7/10 - the 5-step filtration system supports cleaner air by helping capture dust and allergens during regular cleaning.
Key benefits
- Cordless Design: Makes it easier to move between rooms and around furniture without being limited by a power cord.
- Up to 60 Minutes Runtime: Supports longer routine cleaning sessions on a full charge before needing to recharge.
- 5-Step Filtration System: Helps capture dust and allergens for cleaner air during everyday household cleaning.
- Mixed-Surface Cleaning: Designed to clean hard floors, tiles and carpets, making it practical for homes with different floor types.
- Pet-Friendly Use: Well suited to homes with pets where regular pickup of fur and everyday debris is needed.
- Compressible Dust Bin: The bin holds 0.4L normally and can be compressed to fit up to 1L for longer cleaning between empties.
- Wall-Mount Charger: Keeps the vacuum stored neatly and charging in one place for quick access.
- Dual Nozzle with LED Lighting: Improves visibility along floors and near edges so dust is easier to spot while cleaning.
Q: Can this handle thick carpet or is it better for maintenance?
A: LG CordZero A9L-PRIME is better for routine carpet maintenance than heavy-duty deep cleaning. It suits mixed floors and everyday pickup, but thicker carpet can need a more specialised vacuum if stronger deep-cleaning performance matters.
Q: Does it come with a freestanding stand for charging?
A: No. LG CordZero A9L-PRIME includes a wall-mount charger for storage and charging, not a freestanding stand. That suits fixed storage in a laundry or cupboard, but it is less flexible if you do not want to mount it to a wall.
Q: How does the dust bin reach 1L capacity?
A: LG CordZero A9L-PRIME has a 0.4L bin for normal use, and the contents can be compressed to reach 1L maximum capacity. That can reduce emptying during routine cleans, but the usable space depends on the type of debris being collected.
Q: Is there a dedicated pet hair tool included?
A: No. LG CordZero A9L-PRIME is suited to pet-friendly homes, but it does not include a dedicated pet tool in the box. It comes with a dual nozzle, combination tool and crevice tool, so pet hair pickup is more routine than specialised.
Q: What should I expect from battery life in use?
A: LG CordZero A9L-PRIME runs for up to 60 minutes on a full charge, and charging takes up to 4 hours. That suits routine whole-home maintenance and quick top-ups, rather than long back-to-back deep cleans where continuous runtime matters most.
