At a glance
The LG CordZero A9-SWIFT is a lightweight cordless stick vacuum designed for everyday cleaning in smaller homes, apartments and rental properties. It suits users who want easy handling, simple controls and flexible handheld cleaning for floors, furniture and cars. Key strengths include its 1.97 kg build, up to 150W suction in Turbo mode and freestanding dock. Its main limitation is the small 0.25 L dust bin and lower overall capability than premium multi-tool models.

Things to consider
Compared with more premium stick vacuums, it has a smaller 0.25 L dust bin and does not appear to include specialised floorheads or extra battery packs for longer, larger-home cleaning.
Pet hair performance score
6/10 - capable for light everyday pet hair pick-up, but it is not presented as a specialised pet-focused model with a dedicated pet tool.
Carpet vs hard floor suitability
Best for mixed homes with a slight advantage on hard floors and everyday rug cleaning; suitable for carpets, but not positioned as a deep-carpet specialist.
Portability rating
9/10 - very easy to move and carry thanks to its 1.97 kg body, cordless design and handheld conversion.
Noise level vs category average
About average for a cordless stick vacuum; no low-noise claim is provided, and Turbo mode will likely sound louder than Normal mode.
Allergy friendliness
7/10 - the five-step filtration system and washable filters help with fine dust control, though no HEPA claim is provided.
Key benefits
- 150W Turbo Suction: Delivers strong cleaning performance for everyday dirt and debris, with up to 150W suction power in Turbo mode.
- Lightweight 1.97 kg Design: Makes it easier to carry between rooms, lift onto stairs and use for quick clean-ups.
- Handheld Conversion: Switches from stick vacuum to handheld cleaner for furniture, upholstery, stairs and car interiors.
- Up to 40 Minutes Runtime: Supports longer everyday cleaning sessions in Normal mode under specified conditions.
- Slim Power Drive Nozzle: Helps clean across hard floors, carpets and rugs with one main floorhead.
- Thumb Touch Controls: Lets you change between Normal, Power and Turbo modes without holding down a trigger.
- Freestanding Charging Dock: Keeps the vacuum stored upright and ready to charge without wall mounting or drilling.
- Five-Step Filtration: Helps capture fine dust particles, while washable filters support simpler ongoing maintenance.
Q: Is this vacuum suitable for cleaning a whole house?
A: Yes, for lighter day-to-day cleaning rather than long, heavy sessions. LG CordZero A9-SWIFT runs for up to 40 minutes in Normal mode without a motorised nozzle attached, and the 0.25L bin means larger homes may need more emptying breaks.
Q: Does the charging dock need to be drilled into the wall?
A: No. LG CordZero A9-SWIFT includes a freestanding charging dock, so it can stand upright without wall mounting or drilling. That makes it a practical option for rentals or anyone who wants flexible placement from room to room.
Q: How well does the A9-SWIFT handle pet hair on floors?
A: LG CordZero A9-SWIFT is suitable for light pet hair pick-up in everyday cleaning. The Slim Power Drive Nozzle can handle hair on hard floors, rugs and some carpet, but there is no dedicated pet tool for heavier shedding or upholstery-focused cleaning.
Q: Can it clean thick carpet or is it better on hard floors?
A: It is better suited to hard floors, rugs and light to medium carpet cleaning. LG CordZero A9-SWIFT uses a Slim Power Drive Nozzle for everyday mixed-floor cleaning, but it is not positioned as a specialist deep-cleaner for thick carpet throughout the home.
Q: Will I need to empty the dust bin often?
A: Yes, more often than with many larger stick vacuums. LG CordZero A9-SWIFT has a 0.25L bagless dust bin, which is fine for quick pick-ups and apartment cleaning, but bigger jobs or homes with more debris will usually need more frequent emptying.
