It’s ok
Works fine. Think I was expecting miracles. Quicker to clean with paper towel. Great for condensation though.

Best window cleaner I've tried
Works really well. Easy to use. You need to get the angle right so that it doesn't leave any moisture behind. You still need to rub the surface dry with a cloth, but it is still a good solution to glass cleaning.

At a glance
The Karcher WV2 Window Vacuum is a lightweight handheld cleaner made for windows, mirrors, tiles and other smooth surfaces around the home. It suits households wanting faster, neater glass cleaning with less dripping than manual wiping. Key strengths are its 0.6 kg body, hygienic bagless emptying and up to 35 minutes of battery life. One limitation is that it is designed for smooth surfaces rather than broader wet and dry vacuum tasks.

Things to consider
This model is specialised for smooth surface cleaning, so it is less versatile than premium handheld vacuums designed for dry debris, upholstery or car interiors.
Pet hair performance score
1/10 - designed for smooth wet surfaces, not for lifting pet hair from floors or fabric.
Car cleaning suitability
Low - better suited to car windows and mirrors than seats, carpets or general car vacuuming.
Portability rating
9/10 - very easy to carry and use thanks to its compact 0.6 kg design.
Battery endurance rating
8/10 - up to 35 minutes is strong for household window cleaning tasks.
Ease of emptying
8/10 - bagless design supports quick, hygienic disposal of dirty water.
Key benefits
- Lightweight 0.6 kg body: easier to hold for overhead cleaning, high windows and frequent use around the home.
- Up to 35-minute lithium-ion run time: enough battery for cleaning several rooms of glass before recharging.
- 280 mm suction nozzle: covers standard windows and larger glass panels with fewer passes.
- Bagless dirty-water collection: quick to empty and helps reduce contact with dirty water.
- Streak-free cleaning design: removes water and dirt from smooth surfaces for a cleaner finish than wiping alone.
- Compact handheld format: easier to manoeuvre into corners, shower screens and tight glass areas.
- Less dripping during cleaning: electrical suction helps collect dirty water before it runs onto sills or floors.
- Included starter cleaning kit: comes with a battery charger, spray bottle with microfibre wiping cloth and 20 mL window cleaner concentrate so you can begin cleaning sooner.
Q: Can the Karcher WV2 replace a normal handheld vacuum
A: No. Karcher WV2 is a specialised window vacuum for collecting dirty water on smooth surfaces such as glass, mirrors and tiles. It is not a wet and dry cleaner for crumbs, upholstery, carpets, pet hair or general floor vacuuming.
Q: Will it work on frosted, textured or uneven glass surfaces
A: No. Karcher WV2 is made for smooth surfaces, so suction is best on flat glass, mirrors and similar finishes. On frosted, textured or uneven surfaces, the nozzle may not seal properly and clean water pickup is less consistent.
Q: Can this clean shower screens and bathroom tiles after each shower
A: Yes. Karcher WV2 is designed for smooth surfaces including shower cabins and tiles, so it can pick up water from bathroom glass and tiled areas after use. It is not a wet and dry floor vacuum for grout lines, mats or textured surfaces.
Q: Is the battery enough for cleaning several rooms of windows
A: Yes. Karcher WV2 uses a lithium-ion battery with 35 minutes of run time, which suits several rooms of glass before recharging. Charging takes 3.8 hours, so it is better for batch cleaning than repeated long sessions in one day.
Q: What do you put in the WV2 spray bottle
A: Karcher WV2 includes a spray bottle and 1 x 20 millilitre window cleaner concentrate, so you can start with the supplied cleaning solution. Compatibility beyond the included cleaner is not listed for this model.
Q: Can you use it on car windows and mirrors
A: Yes, for glass only. Karcher WV2 suits smooth surfaces, so it can help on car windows and mirrors where you want to lift dirty water neatly. It is not designed for seats, dashboards, carpets or general interior vacuuming.
