Useful accessory for a Karcher window vacuum
A very useful addition if you have a Karcher window vacuum. The extension pole fits a number of the WV series window vacuums, and simply makes it easier to clean a large or high window. It works fine, it's not very expensive, and makes the job easier.

Faulty and couldnt replace
Not happy at all and no response to feedback sent. The item was not delivered to home, had to drive 20 mins to pick up. The product was faulty and returned to local store who had never seen item before as dont stock and couldnt replace. Refund given was less postage. Very very disappointed

Serves the purpose very well. It requires a lot of strength to attach the vac but very secure when using it

At a glance
The Karcher Window Vac Extension Pole is a practical add-on for cleaning high windows, skylights and other smooth glass surfaces without climbing a ladder. It suits households already using compatible Karcher Window Vac models and offers flexible positioning plus telescopic reach. Its main limitation is that it is best suited to flat glass surfaces rather than specialist or heavily textured surfaces.
What it’s great for
- High window cleaning
- Skylights
- Conservatory glass
- Tall household windows
- Hard-to-reach smooth surfaces
Where it works best
- Homes
- Apartments with tall windows
- Sunrooms
- Conservatories
- Indoor glass areas
Who it’s for
- Homeowners
- Apartment dwellers
- Households with skylights
- Users of Karcher Window Vac models
- People wanting to avoid ladders for upper window cleaning
Things to consider
This attachment is designed mainly for flat, smooth glass surfaces, so it is less specialised than premium tools made for textured, irregular or very hard-to-access glazing.
Pet owner suitability
6/10 - useful for cleaning nose marks and everyday window mess, but it is not a pet hair attachment.
Surface versatility score
7/10 - works well on high, smooth glass surfaces, but is best suited to flat panes rather than textured or irregular surfaces.
Vacuum model compatibility
Compatible with Karcher KV 4, WV 1, WV 2, WV 5 and WV 6, plus vibrating cordless wiper heads.
Ease of attachment
8/10 - designed as a dedicated Karcher accessory set with included lances and joint for straightforward setup.
Key benefits
- Telescopic reach: Adjusts from 0.6 m to 1.5 m to help clean higher windows and glass surfaces from the ground.
- High cleaning access: Supports cleaning at heights up to 3.5 m depending on your reach.
- Flexible joint: Helps position the cleaning head on angled or awkward panes for better contact.
- Broad model compatibility: Designed for use with Karcher KV 4, WV 1, WV 2, WV 5 and WV 6 models.
- Complete cleaning set: Includes two telescopic lances, an intake with flexible joint, and a wiper with microfibre cloth.
- Pre-clean and vacuum workflow: Lets you wipe down glass with the microfibre cloth before vacuuming away dirty water.
- Light handling: Weighs 0.92 kg for easier control during overhead cleaning.
- Dual head support: Compatible with both Window Vac and vibrating cordless wiper heads for added flexibility.
Q: Will this reach second-storey windows from the ground?
A: No, not as a general rule. The pole adjusts from 0.6m to 1.5m and is intended for glass surfaces at heights up to 3.5m depending on your reach, so it suits many indoor high windows and skylights rather than full second-storey exterior cleaning.
Q: Can it clean textured, leadlight or heavily framed glass?
A: No. This attachment is best suited to flat, smooth glass surfaces, so textured panes, leadlight details and deep frames can limit contact with the wiper and Window Vac head. It is better for standard window glass and mirrors.
Q: Does it work with all Karcher Window Vac models?
A: It is listed as compatible with KV 4, WV 1, WV 2, WV 5 and WV 6, plus the vibrating cordless wiper. Other Karcher window-cleaning models are not named here, so listed compatibility is the safer guide before buying.
Q: What comes in the Karcher Window Vac Extension Pole set?
A: The set includes two telescopic lances, an intake with a flexible joint, and a wiper with a microfibre cloth. It is designed so one pole can support the cleaning head while the other handles pre-wiping before the Window Vac removes dirty water.
Q: Is the flexible joint useful for skylights and angled panes?
A: Yes. The flexible joint helps position the cleaning head against sloped or awkward panes, which is useful on skylights and conservatory glass. It still works best on smooth, fairly flat surfaces rather than textured or sharply profiled glass.
Q: How bulky is the extension pole to handle overhead?
A: Karcher Window Vac Extension Pole weighs 0.92kg and measures 117cm high, 25cm wide and 15cm deep. That keeps it relatively manageable for overhead window cleaning, though a longer reach still gives less control than cleaning close to the glass.
