Our Fury Family cannot help their selves when accidents happen.
Pet wee is the hardest to get out. The smell can linger. Imstead of cleaning the whole carpet, use this anti-bacterial odour remover. It works!

At a glance
The Karcher Anti-Bacterial Pet Odour Remover is a 500 mL cleaning solution for carpets, upholstery and car seats in pet-friendly homes. It suits owners who want targeted stain and odour treatment with a compatible Karcher spot cleaner. Key strengths are its antibacterial action, fresh finish and Australian-made formula. Its main limitation is that the small bottle and spot-cleaning focus make it less suitable for whole-home carpet cleaning.

Things to consider
This 500 mL formula is better for spot cleaning than large-area carpet refreshes, and it is best used with compatible Karcher spray extraction machines rather than as a general-purpose standalone cleaner.
Pet & child home suitability
Well suited to pet-friendly homes needing targeted cleaning of soft surfaces and accident-prone areas.
Stain removal effectiveness
7/10 - Strong for targeted pet-related spots and soft-surface messes, but not positioned as a heavy-duty whole-carpet restoration solution.
Ease of application
8/10 - Straightforward to use with compatible Karcher spray extraction and spot-cleaning machines on carpets, upholstery and car seats.
Odour removal score
8/10 - Specifically formulated for pet odours and designed to leave a fresh scent after cleaning.
Key benefits
- Anti-bacterial formula: Helps dissolve bacteria while cleaning affected carpet and upholstery areas.
- Pet odour remover: Targets unpleasant pet smells to leave rooms and soft surfaces smelling fresher.
- Multi-surface use: Suitable for carpets, upholstery and car seats, so it can handle common pet mess zones around the home and car.
- 500 mL bottle: A practical size for treating specific stains and odour spots without buying a large-volume cleaner.
- SE 3-18 compatibility: Designed to work seamlessly with the Karcher SE 3-18 Spot Cleaner for convenient targeted cleaning.
- Spray extraction machine compatibility: Works with Karcher spray extraction machines for more thorough rinse-and-lift cleaning results.
- Fresh finish: Leaves cleaned areas with a clean finish and fresh scent after treatment.
- Australian-made formula: Locally formulated and made in Australia for Australian households.
Q: Will this bottle handle whole-house carpet cleaning or just spot jobs
A: No. The 0.5L bottle is aimed at targeted stain and odour treatment on small areas such as pet accidents, lounges and car seats. It is a better fit for spot cleaning with a compatible Karcher machine than a full-home carpet refresh.
Q: Can I use it without a Karcher SE 3-18 cleaner
A: It is designed for the Karcher SE 3-18 and suits compatible Karcher spray extraction machines. It is not positioned as a standalone spray-and-wipe carpet cleaner, so results and application depend on using the right extraction machine.
Q: Is it suitable for lounge upholstery and car seats
A: Yes. This formula is suitable for upholstery and car seats as well as carpet, which makes it useful for pet messes in lounges and vehicle interiors. It is intended for targeted cleaning of affected areas rather than cleaning every fabric surface at once.
Q: Does it remove pet odours or mainly leave a fresh scent
A: It is formulated to remove pet odours while cleaning the affected carpet or fabric, not simply add fragrance over the top. The fresh finish is a secondary result after cleaning, and it is best suited to localised odour spots rather than whole rooms.
Q: Which Karcher machines can this stain remover be used with
A: This solution is listed for use with the Karcher SE 3-18 and is also described as compatible with Karcher spray extraction machines. If you want a product for hand application or general household wiping, this is not the one it is built around.
