  highly effective for size

  I was pleasantly surprised at how effective this heater was at warming the downstairs rooms of my home, especially considering the size of the unit. Excellent features including economy setting to reduce power usage. thermostatic control and swivel features all help this heater to quickly warm quite a large area. Very good value for money and reasonably economic to run. Good, adjustable, fan speed and easy to clean filter. Very satisfied with this product.

  Does the job -- mostly.

  This is a good little heater. It heats well, it looks good, and its operation is very quiet. It can be run on the usual "low" and "high" modes, but you can also set the desired room temperature and it will adjust its heating accordingly. I've taken away one star for one reason. Before I purchased it I was told that it comes with a timer. Fantastic, I thought: I can set it to turn on before I wake up each morning. It turns out that the heater has a timer to turn OFF, but not to turn ON. So that was disappointing. Other than that, though, this is a good heater which I would recommend with that one qualification.
