I’m not happy with this it says on the commercial that it’s really cold but it’s not
I wouldn’t buy one I wish that I can take it back and get my money back. As I said it’s a lie what they say on the ads furthest machine

Key benefits
- Evaporative Cooling System: Uses water-based chill pads to provide cooling suited to small rooms up to 15 m2.
- Four Speed Settings: Lets you adjust airflow more precisely for sleeping, working, or daytime comfort.
- Remote Control: Makes it easy to change settings from bed, a desk, or across the room.
- Touch Control Panel: Provides simple on-unit control with quick access to core functions.
- Humidity Control: Adds moisture to the air when required, which can feel more comfortable in dry indoor conditions.
- Built-In Ioniser: Helps freshen the airflow for a more pleasant room environment.
- Compact Tower Footprint: The 28 cm x 28 cm base helps it fit more easily into tight bedroom or study layouts.
- Low Power Use: Operates at under 100 watts, making it a lower-power option for regular room cooling.
Q: Is this a real portable air conditioner or evaporative cooler
A: No. Insta Chill ICHIL_09EX V3 is an evaporative cooler, not a refrigerated portable air conditioner. It uses water-based chill pads to cool the airflow, so it does not need an exhaust hose and works best in smaller rooms and drier conditions.
Q: Does the Instachill 09EX need water to cool properly
A: Yes. Insta Chill ICHIL_09EX V3 needs water for its evaporative cooling system to lower the air temperature. Without water, the unit can still move air, but it will not deliver the same cooling effect as it does in evaporative mode.
Q: How well does it work on humid summer days
A: In humid conditions, evaporative cooling is usually less noticeable because the air already holds more moisture. Insta Chill ICHIL_09EX V3 suits compact rooms and concentrated cooling, rather than expecting refrigerated-style cooling in muggy weather.
Q: Will this cooler suit an open plan living area
A: No. Insta Chill ICHIL_09EX V3 is designed for rooms up to 15m2, such as a bedroom or study, so it is better for spot cooling than covering a large open-plan area. In a bigger space, the cooling effect will feel more localised than whole-room.
Q: How much space does the unit take on the floor
A: Insta Chill ICHIL_09EX V3 has a compact 28cm by 28cm footprint and stands 91cm high. That size makes it easier to place beside a bed, desk or sofa, though it still needs some nearby clearance for airflow and regular water refilling.
Q: What does the humidity control feature actually do here
A: The humidity control feature adds moisture to the airflow when required, which can suit dry indoor conditions. It is not the same as dehumidifying a room, so buyers wanting drier air should not treat this model as a moisture-reduction appliance.
Q: Does the mosquito repeller replace sprays or other insect control
A: No. The built-in mosquito repeller is intended to deter insects nearby, not replace broader insect control around a room or home. Its main role is still cooling airflow, so the repeller is best treated as an extra feature rather than the reason to buy.
