Things to consider
This boiling and ambient model does not include filtered chilled water, so it may suit fewer users than 4-in-1 systems paired with a chiller.
Water taste improvement score
7/10 - filtered boiling and ambient water can improve drinking-water taste, though filter performance details are not specified here.
Filter replacement convenience
Moderate - under-sink filter access is generally tidy, but replacement simplicity is not detailed in the provided specs.
Allergy suitability
Suitable for households wanting filtered water, but no specific allergen-reduction or contaminant-removal claims are provided.
Eco-friendliness rating
7/10 - the 5 star WELS rating and 6 L/min flow support water-efficient tap use, though boiling-water energy use is not specified.
Installation ease score
5/10 - multifunction tap and under-sink tank installation are more involved than fitting a standard kitchen mixer.
Key benefits
- 4-in-1 water delivery: Combines regular hot and cold water with filtered boiling and filtered ambient water from one tap.
- Under-sink NeoTank system: Helps keep benchtops clearer by moving the boiling-water setup below the sink.
- Electronic thermostat: Maintains precise boiling-water temperature control for more consistent performance.
- 2.5 L tank capacity: Provides a practical volume of filtered boiling water ready for drinks and cooking tasks.
- J-shaped spout: Offers a familiar high-arc form that is convenient for filling pots and everyday sink use.
- Italian design and manufacture: Delivers a premium finish and contemporary style for modern kitchens.
- 5 star WELS rating: Uses water at 6 L/min, supporting water-efficient everyday tap use.
- Single multifunction tap design: Reduces the need for separate fixtures and supports a cleaner sink layout.
Q: Does this 4N1 tap dispense chilled water as well?
A: No. This Ambient version supplies filtered boiling water and filtered ambient water, plus regular mains hot and cold water. It does not include a chilled-water function, so it suits kitchens that do not need a separate cooling unit.
Q: How much boiling water can the NeoTank hold at once?
A: The NeoTank holds 2.5L. That suits drinks, cooking prep and quick fill tasks, but it is not the same as unlimited boiling water on demand, so repeated large draws may need time for the tank to recover between uses.
Q: Will this replace a standard mixer tap without extra hardware?
A: No. This model uses a single tap on the sink, but it also needs the under-sink NeoTank and filtration setup. It is a more involved upgrade than a basic mixer replacement, so discuss sink space, plumbing and power access with your plumber and electrician.
Q: Are the filtered and regular water lines kept separate?
A: Yes. This tap delivers regular mains hot and cold water for normal sink use, while the boiling and ambient drinking water are filtered functions from the same fixture. It combines them in one tap, but they are not described as one shared water mode.
Q: Is the J shape spout practical for pots and washing up?
A: Yes. The J-shaped spout gives generous clearance for filling pots and handling larger sink tasks, while keeping all four water functions in one fixture. It is a good fit for buyers who want bench space freed up, not multiple separate taps.
Q: How is the boiling water temperature controlled on this tap?
A: The tap uses an electronic thermostat to maintain precise boiling-water temperature control. That gives a more consistent result for drinks and cooking prep, but it is still a boiling-water function rather than a variable warm-water dispenser.
