Homedics the Best
This Massager is fantastic it has a few different attachements for different parts of the body and helps to releive pain and loosen tightened muscles. If your looking for a good massager this is the one that works wonders. It has a safety switch which turns off in 15 minutes so it doesn't over heat. Well worth the money spent.

Good intense massager
Purchased this massager last month and have used it a few times. Was a bit skeptical about the battery life as it said 3-4 hrs of battery life but to my surprise it lasts that long. Also, the massager has different attachments and have tried all the attachments and happy with the outcome. Happy with this purchase and planning to buy if for parents too.

Not bad for the price !
Not bad for the price I paid for this massager. Battery life is good. Comfortable and quiet to use. Might feel a bit week if you are after heavy-duty massage.

At a glance
The Homedics Therapist Select Plus is a portable percussion massager for people who want deep tissue relief at home, after exercise or on the go. Its main strengths are targeted muscle treatment, simple LCD controls and a useful set of attachments. A fair limitation is that it offers 4 speed levels, which is less tunable than some premium massage guns.

Things to consider
It covers everyday recovery well, but specialist or premium models may offer more speed steps, stronger app integration or broader attachment systems for highly tailored massage routines.

Ease of use score
9/10 - straightforward LCD touch controls, clear readout and comfortable grip make it simple to operate.

Family suitability
Suitable for shared adult household use thanks to adjustable intensity levels and multiple attachments, though users should choose the speed and head carefully for comfort.
Key benefits
- Deep Tissue Percussion: Helps work into larger muscle groups such as the back, shoulders, legs and glutes for more focused relief.
- 4 Intensity Levels: Gives you a usable speed range from 2200 to 3000 RPM so you can choose gentler or firmer massage pressure.
- 6 Interchangeable Attachments: Lets you switch heads to better suit different muscle areas and recovery routines.
- Ergonomic Rubber Grip Handle: Improves comfort and control during longer massage sessions.
- LCD Touch Controls: Makes it easier to view settings and adjust speed without guesswork.
- Battery Indicator: Shows remaining battery percentage clearly so you can plan sessions and recharging.
- Up to 4 Hours Battery Life: Supports multiple sessions per charge for convenient regular use.
- Storage Case Included: Makes the massager easier to store neatly and carry between home, gym and travel.
Q: Is the lowest setting gentle enough for everyday use?
A: Yes. The Homedics Therapist Select Plus starts at 2200RPM, which is the lowest of its 4 speed settings. It is still a percussion massager rather than a light vibrating hand massager, so the feel is firm rather than ultra-gentle.
Q: Does it shut off automatically during longer massage sessions?
A: Yes. The Homedics Therapist Select Plus switches off after 15 minutes, which suits a standard session length and helps limit continuous operation. If you want longer use, it needs to be started again after the shut-off.
Q: How long does a full charge last in regular use?
A: A full charge provides up to 4 hours of runtime per charge, and recharging takes about 4.5 hours. That is enough for multiple short sessions between charges, though more frequent use means it will need topping up sooner.
Q: Will this massage gun sound loud in a bedroom?
A: No. The high-torque motor is designed for quieter operation, which makes it easier to use in shared spaces. It is still a percussion massager, so there will be audible motor noise during use.
Q: Which attachment setup suits broader muscle areas best?
A: For larger areas, the ball or wedge-style heads are the better starting point because they spread contact across a broader surface. The trigger point style head is more focused, so it suits smaller areas rather than broad coverage.
Q: Can you get a replacement charger for PGM-745-AU?
A: Yes. A mains power adaptor is available for model PGM-745-AU under part number PP-PGM745ADPAU. It is a replacement charger for this massage gun, which is useful if the original adaptor is lost or kept separately.
