Really good fridge. Takes a while to get the ice going but once it’s up and running it pumps it out. Plenty of room..

Fabulous refrigerator
I love this fridge. No plumbing required. Ice and water dispenses great. Lighting is extremely nice. Cheese in old fridge would be moldy but not in this one.

Great product for money you pay
We are extremely happy with our Hisense 632L Side by Side Refrigerator. The large capacity is perfect for a family, with plenty of room in both the fridge and freezer compartments. The layout is well designed, making it easy to organise groceries and find items quickly. The non-plumbed ice and water dispenser is a fantastic feature and has been very convenient without requiring any additional plumbing. The fridge runs very quietly, cools efficiently, and the black stainless steel finish looks modern and stylish in our kitchen. We also love the bright LED lighting and spacious door shelves, which make storage even more practical. Overall, this fridge offers excellent value for money, great functionality, and a premium look. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious and reliable family refrigerator.

Hisense fridge
Amongst the features, apart from the nice looks, it doesn't need plumbing, can make ice cubes, crashed ice and cool water. It's very quiet and there is plenty of room for the needs of a family of 3/4 people.

Things to consider
It delivers strong storage and convenience for the price, but premium alternatives may offer better energy performance, smarter connectivity, or more advanced internal organisation.
Large family suitability
Excellent - 632L total capacity with a 417L fridge and 215L freezer suits larger households well.
Entertaining friendliness
8/10 - large storage, side by side access, and an ice and water dispenser make it handy for gatherings.
Energy efficiency vs category average
6/10 - 3.5 star energy rating is reasonable for this size, but not standout versus more efficient models.
Smart home integration score
2/10 - convenient electronic touch controls are included, but no smart app or voice integration is specified.
Freezer space rating
8/10 - 215L freezer capacity is strong for stocking frozen meals, meat, and bulk purchases.
Key benefits
- 632L Capacity: Gives larger households plenty of room for weekly groceries, drinks, and frozen foods.
- 417L Fridge Compartment: Provides generous fresh food storage with space to organise everyday items clearly.
- 215L Freezer Compartment: Offers substantial freezer room for bulk buying, meal prep, and longer-term storage.
- Non-Plumbed Water Tank: Lets the ice and water dispenser work without plumbing, making placement easier in kitchens or rental homes.
- Metal-Tech Cooling: Helps spread cool air more evenly through the main compartment to reduce warm spots after frequent door openings.
- Super Freeze: Quickly lowers freezer temperature when adding new groceries to help chill items faster.
- Super Cool: Rapidly cools fresh groceries after shopping so newly added items reach a chilled state sooner.
- 3.5 Star Energy Rating: Delivers moderate energy performance for a large side by side fridge, with estimated annual energy consumption of 500kWh.
Q: Does the ice and water dispenser need a plumbing connection?
A: No. The HRSBS633BW uses a built-in water tank, so the dispenser can run without a household water connection. That makes placement more flexible, but the tank still needs refilling and ice production can slow after heavy use.
Q: Will the ice maker keep up with a busy family?
A: Yes, for normal household use. The non-plumbed dispenser makes ice automatically, but output depends on the refillable tank and the unit's recovery time, so repeated large serves in a short period can empty the available ice first.
Q: Is the 3.5 star energy rating reasonable for a 632L fridge?
A: HRSBS633BW has a 3.5 star energy rating and estimated annual energy consumption of 500kWh. For a 632L side by side fridge, that is broadly in line with many models in this size class rather than a low-running-cost standout.
Q: How much usable fridge and freezer space does this model give?
A: HRSBS633BW gives you 417L of fridge space and 215L of freezer space. That split suits households that buy a full weekly shop, though a side by side design divides storage vertically rather than giving one extra-wide compartment.
Q: Is a side by side layout practical for bulk grocery shops?
A: Yes. A side by side layout keeps both fresh and frozen food at easy reach, which helps when organising larger grocery loads. The trade-off is that each compartment is narrower, so very wide trays and platters need a quick size check.
Q: Can this fridge work well in a rental or flexible kitchen layout?
A: Yes. The built-in water tank means the dispenser works without plumbing, which suits homes where altering kitchen services is not practical. It is still a full-width side by side fridge, so allow for door swing and delivery access before ordering.
