Avoid this dishwasher
Our old dishwasher did much better job than hisense! Unfortunaltely, we can not do much anymore as this one has been installed now.

It works ok
We actually asked the salesman if the unit had wifi capacity and he said it did. Only to discover that it didn't have it after we installed the unit!

Good value option for rental property
Product has a slightly longer warranty than standard and good price point for rental property. If you pay for installation it requires a separate tradie and is not installed at delivery. Would recommend at right price point. Good noise rating.

Cutlery Tray is a Bonus
This is a machine for an office kitchen. It replaced a Fisher and Paykel machine and this one is very quiet and washes beautifully. It has lots of features and the cutlery tray is brilliant as it was the only machine I could find in the mid range that had the tray. Most are in the higher end, which was not necessary for the office. Good options to drain the dishes with the trays being able to be angled down. Very spacious. Highly recommend.

Absolutely terrible
Does not clean properly or dry anything at all! I need to rinse everything clean before I put it in the dishwasher and have a tea towel ready to dry everything when I’m unloading it. It is useless. Don’t waste your money.

Worst dishwasher I’ve ever owned
Doesn’t clean even if the machine is barely full. Everything comes out dripping wet. Not worth it at all.

Q: Is 49dB quiet enough for an open plan kitchen?
A: Hisense HSCE14FS runs at 49dB, which is quiet enough for most open-plan kitchens without dominating the room. It is not in the ultra-quiet class, so you will still hear water movement and drain noise as the cycle changes.
Q: Can this dishwasher fit big pots without wasting lower basket space?
A: Yes. The adjustable upper basket and foldable plate holders in both baskets help open space for taller pots, pans and serving dishes. Separate cutlery storage also makes the lower basket easier to organise for bulkier items.
Q: Are the Quick and 1 Hour programs for everyday loads?
A: Yes, for lighter daily loads. Quick and 1 Hour are the convenient options when dishes are not heavily soiled, while Intensive is the better choice for baked-on food and cookware. Shorter programs prioritise speed over the deepest clean.
Q: Will a power outage make it restart from the beginning?
A: No. Hisense HSCE14FS has power-off memory, so it can resume with the previous settings after an interruption instead of forcing you to reselect the program. That is useful if the cycle is running overnight or on a delayed start.
Q: Can I set it to start later in the day?
A: Yes. Hisense HSCE14FS includes Start Delay, so you can load the dishwasher and run it later rather than starting it straight away. That is useful for off-peak timing or for finishing closer to when you want to unload it.
Q: What does Aquastop do if a hose or seal leaks?
A: Aquastop is a safety feature designed to help limit water escape if a fault develops in the water path. It adds protection beyond a basic freestanding dishwasher, but it does not replace correct plumbing connection or professional installation.
