Pretty good product with just a small caveat
Pretty happy with the freezer although we've only had it for about 3 weeks so far. Good size and I love that it has drawers for storage, they're a really good size! While this is not the reason for a 4 star we wish the electrical chord was at last 0.5m longer just due to the placement of our power point in our garage. Where I would say it lost a point is that top shelf door. Unlike the other drawers the way it opens feels like it can easily get broken or break the freezer door if you're not careful which is what happened in our case and now our freezer door has a crack in it. Yes our fault, but I feel like it can very easily happen to anyone so I would have rather it just be an open shelf than have that door. Other than that, freezer is working well and we're very happy with it!

Things to consider
With a 155L capacity, it may not suit large families or those needing extensive bulk storage compared to larger upright or chest freezers.
Large family suitability
4/10 - Best for small households; limited capacity for large family bulk storage.
Garage placement fit
9/10 - Compact size and robust design make it well-suited for garage or utility room placement.
Energy efficiency score
7/10 - Offers reasonable energy consumption for its size, though not the most efficient in the category.
Bulk storage rating
5/10 - Suitable for moderate storage, but not ideal for large quantities or oversized items.
Key benefits
- Reversible Door: Allows flexible installation to suit different kitchen or garage layouts.
- Adjustable Shelves: Customise the interior space for different food sizes and storage needs.
- Frost-Free Operation: Reduces the need for manual defrosting, saving time and effort.
- Slim Upright Design: Fits easily in narrow spaces, making it ideal for apartments or secondary storage.
- Easy-Access Drawers: Transparent drawers make it simple to organise and locate frozen items quickly.
- Quiet Operation: Runs at a low noise level, suitable for placement in living spaces.
- Interior LED Lighting: Bright, energy-efficient lighting for clear visibility of stored items.
- Fast Freeze Function: Quickly lowers temperature to preserve food freshness when adding new items.
Q: Is the Hisense HRVF155 large enough to use as a main freezer?
A: Yes, 155L generally suits a one to two person household as a main freezer, or works well as a second freezer for extra bulk storage. Larger families may find this size better for overflow items rather than all frozen groceries.
Q: What does the Super Freeze function do on the Hisense HRVF155?
A: Super Freeze rapidly lowers the freezer temperature to help newly added food freeze faster. It is useful after a big grocery shop because it helps reduce temperature rise from warm items, though it is not a separate storage compartment.
Q: What happens if the door is left open on the Hisense HRVF155?
A: The door open alarm sounds if the door is left ajar, helping you catch the issue before food warms up. It is a useful safeguard in busy kitchens or garages, but it does not close the door for you or restore lost cold air instantly.
Q: Can the Hisense HRVF155 work well in a separate fridge and freezer setup?
A: Yes, this model suits buyers who want a dedicated upright freezer instead of a combined fridge freezer. It can pair neatly with a single-door fridge, but you will need enough floor space for two separate appliances and their door swing.
