The Hisense Series 8i is space-saving and washes just fine, but it could do with a bit more refinement for the price. It is noticeably noisier than our machine it replaced (Bosch), especially the drain pump. The smart home app can't connect to the machine unless manually powered on first and you go through the setting to enable remote app start. The colour display is not actually a touch screen yet the popup messages seem to have been designed for touch with inviting buttons that you can't actually tap directly (requires wheel use and a tiny button marked with a generic circle). The display and interior illumination go to sleep after a few minutes completely blacking out so that you cannot even see the time remaining unless you press a button (or check the app). Its wash program default settings are a bit hit and miss. Most annoying is the total omission of a gentle or delicate program, although there is a wool cycle.

So, if you're like me and have always avoided front loaders, I’d definitely recommend giving this one a look. **Great capacity, clever features, easy to use—and it fits perfectly where I needed it.** Now I just need it to fold the clothes and put them away… surely that’s coming in Series 9? 😜

Sleek and quiet
Great washer. Is not very loud which I love. It has a very high spin so can shake the house a bit but that's mostly because we are off the ground. I doubt you would feel anything if you are ground floor Level. Looks so nice being the darker colour. At times it can leave the washing not thoroughly clean. Although it really depends on the material because some thing have been so clean. Also love the 15 minute cycle option.
