At a glance
The Harman Kardon Enchant Dolby Atmos Speaker is a compact home wireless speaker for people who want immersive music, easy streaming and room-friendly placement. It suits living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces, with auto calibration helping it sound balanced in different rooms. Key strengths are Dolby Atmos playback, Wi-Fi streaming and simple app setup. One limitation is that it is mains-powered, so it is less flexible than portable battery speakers.

Things to consider
This speaker delivers immersive music and convenient streaming, but it is not battery-powered and may not match the scale, bass depth or room-filling output of larger premium multi-speaker or hi-fi setups.
Multi-room flexibility
Good for Wi-Fi-based home streaming setups, with AirPlay and Chromecast built-in supporting flexible room-to-room listening ecosystems.
Portability rating
3/10 - compact and easy to place, but mains-powered and intended for indoor use near a power point.
Music quality score
8/10 - immersive presentation with Dolby Atmos Music support, room calibration and 90W RMS output for strong everyday home listening.
Smart home compatibility
AirPlay, Chromecast built-in, Spotify Connect
Outdoor suitability
2/10 - better suited to indoor listening because it requires mains power and is not described as weather resistant.
Key benefits
- Dolby Atmos Music: Up-firing drivers help create a more spacious, immersive sound presentation for supported music content.
- Automatic Sound Calibration: Adjusts playback to your room so placement is easier and sound stays balanced in different indoor spaces.
- Wi-Fi Streaming Support: Streams directly through Spotify Connect, AirPlay and Chromecast built-in for convenient everyday listening.
- Bluetooth 5.2: Offers a simple wireless option for quickly playing audio from compatible phones and tablets.
- Compact Design: Fits comfortably in living rooms, bedrooms and smaller spaces without dominating the room.
- 90W RMS Output: Provides enough power for clear everyday home listening across small to medium indoor spaces.
- App-Guided Setup: The Harman Kardon One app helps simplify Wi-Fi setup for a more stable connection process.
- Mains-Powered Operation: Suits consistent indoor use near a power point without needing battery charging.
Q: Can this speaker replace a soundbar for Dolby Atmos TV audio?
A: No. Harman Kardon Enchant is built for streamed music playback over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, including Dolby Atmos Music. TV-focused connections such as HDMI or optical are not part of its listed features, so it is not a direct soundbar substitute.
Q: Will it work with a Bluetooth turntable at home?
A: Yes, if the turntable sends audio over Bluetooth, this speaker can work as a Bluetooth audio receiver. A wired turntable connection is not part of its listed inputs, so non-Bluetooth decks need separate compatible hardware to send audio wirelessly.
Q: Is one Enchant speaker enough for an open-plan room?
A: Yes, it can suit an open-plan room for everyday listening because it is designed to project sound broadly and calibrate to the room. It is still a single compact speaker, so it will not create true left-right stereo separation on its own.
Q: Can two Enchant speakers be paired as a stereo set?
A: Not as a documented feature. Harman Kardon Enchant supports AirPlay and Chromecast built-in for broader wireless playback, but a dedicated left-and-right stereo pairing mode is not listed for this model, so treat it as a single-speaker solution.
Q: Do I need the Harman Kardon One app to use it?
A: No, not for every use. The Harman Kardon One app is the guided path for Wi-Fi setup, while Bluetooth playback is more straightforward once the speaker is powered. Room calibration and network-based features are tied more closely to the home setup process.
Q: Does it have built in voice assistant control?
A: No, not from the speaker itself. It supports AirPlay, Chromecast built-in and Spotify Connect for playback, but hands-free voice control is not a listed onboard feature, so commands would come from a compatible phone or smart home device instead.
