Would not recommend at all
Even though advertised as a 1200W heater, it could not even keep a small 4 sqm caravan warm at night. It is also quite noisy, even on the slowest fan setting.

A great little heater for our camper
This little heater works a treat for heating our camper. The LED light is a nice addition but not essential. It is heavier for its size than other small heaters which means its less likely to be knocked over by our dog as she walks past it. Great value for money too.

Does the job
heats a small room (3m x 3m) but you need to keep the door shut. I also found that placing the heater on the floor or low somewhere meant it was more effective

Well suited to small rooms and personal spaces such as bedrooms, studies and home offices
Energy efficiency score
6/10 - 1200 W output is moderate for a portable heater, but no star rating or advanced eco mode is specified

7/10 - marketed as quiet operation, making it likely calmer than many basic fan heaters
Safety features score
8/10 - includes tip-over auto shut-off and a cool-touch exterior for everyday peace of mind
Portability rating
9/10 - compact size and lightweight design make it easy to carry and reposition around the home
Key benefits
- Ceramic Heating Element: Provides fast, steady warmth for close-range comfort in small rooms.
- Three Heat Settings: Lets you choose a gentler or stronger heat output to suit different times of day.
- Portable Design: Lightweight build makes it easy to move between a bedroom, study or home office.
- Tip-Over Auto Shut-Off: Adds peace of mind by switching the heater off if it is knocked over.
- Cool-Touch Exterior: Helps reduce the risk of the outer case becoming uncomfortably hot during use.
- Quiet Operation: Better suited to bedrooms and study spaces where lower operating noise is preferred.
- 1200 W Output: Delivers practical heating power for small rooms and personal comfort zones.
- Compact Footprint: Easier to position on the floor in tighter spaces without taking up much room.
Q: Can this heater warm a large living room or open-plan area?
A: No. Handy Heater Pure Warmth is designed for close-range heating in small rooms such as a bedroom, study or home office. In a large lounge or open-plan space, warmth will feel localised rather than evenly spread across the room.
Q: Is the Handy Heater Pure Warmth quiet enough for bedroom use?
A: Yes. The Handy Heater Pure Warmth is designed for quiet operation, which suits a bedroom, study or home office where fan noise matters. It is better matched to background warmth near the bed or desk than whole-room heating.
Q: What do the three heat settings actually change?
A: The three settings let you adjust airflow and heat output to suit the time of day and how close you are sitting. Lower settings suit gentler personal warmth, while higher settings push stronger airflow in a small room.
Q: Will it switch off if the heater gets knocked over?
A: Yes. This model has auto-off tip-over protection, so it is designed to shut down if it falls over during use. It also has a cool-to-the-touch exterior, but it still needs a stable surface and clear space around it.
Q: Does this ceramic heater help with odours in a room?
A: Yes. Handy Heater Pure Warmth includes a built-in filter intended to help clear unpleasant odours while it heats. It is still a personal space heater first, so it is better for small enclosed areas than trying to refresh a large open room.
Q: How much bench or floor space does this heater take?
A: Handy Heater Pure Warmth measures 25 x 18 x 20 cm, so it fits more easily on a desk, bedside table or small patch of floor than a larger heater. Its compact size suits close-range heating, not broad room coverage.
