Looks great and works well too
This heater had all the features I was after: Oscillating, easy to read temperature and easy to use controls as well as a timer which was a bonus. I especially like the cool touch even when heating as my grandson was safe near it. I love the streamlined modern look.

VERY COMPACT, PORTABLE, OSCILLATES WELL WITH GREAT WARMTH
GENEROUS 2400 WATTS, DIGITAL CONTROL PANEL AND REMOTE CONTROL WITH THREE HEAT SETTINGS. IT HAS A REMOVABLE/WASHABLE ANTI-DUST FILTER AND AN EXTREMELY QUIET OPERATION. IT ALSO HAS A 24 HOUR TIMER AND SAFETY AUTO-OFF AND ECO PLUS FEATURES WHICH REGULATES POWER FLOW AND TEMPERATURE LEVELS. ALL THIS AND MORE IN THE ONE UNIT. IT'S JUST FANTASTIC!!!

Pretty Ordinary, not worth the price
A bit disappointed with the performance and quality considering the price. The base on which the main unit sits is very plasticky and is just 2 halfs clicked together and you push the unit onto it. This results in a "clicking" sound when it is set to swivel - have to jiggle the unit onto the base to get rid of sound but it returns. Works well enough in a small to medium room but definitely not in an open area. Fan blowing out the hot air is pretty dismal compared to a cheap small ceramic 2000W heater for $10 from Bunnings. It is, however, very silent.

Great heater
Love this it is compact and provides very good heat, I have an open plan house so I need to sit near it which is fine but I would like a little more cord to move it further from the wall socket otherwise I can use an extension cord.

Q: Does this DeLonghi tower heater use a lot of electricity
A: DeLonghi TCH8993ER draws up to 2400W on its highest setting, so it uses similar power to other full-size portable electric heaters when running at maximum. The thermostat and ECO Plus mode can reduce power use by backing heat off once the room is warm.
Q: Can it heat a large open-plan living area
A: No. DeLonghi TCH8993ER is designed for small to medium rooms where direct, quick warmth is needed, not for heating a large open-plan area evenly. In a bigger space, warmth will be more localised and the heater may need to run longer.
Q: Is it quiet enough for a bedroom or study
A: Yes. DeLonghi TCH8993ER operates at 37-43dB, which is low for a fan-based heater and suits bedrooms, studies, and home offices. It still uses a fan, so in a very quiet room you may hear airflow more than with non-fan heating styles.
Q: What does ECO Plus do on this heater
A: ECO Plus automatically adjusts power and temperature instead of running at one fixed heat level the whole time. DeLonghi TCH8993ER is better suited to maintaining steady room warmth after warm-up than blasting maximum output continuously.
Q: Can the TCH8993ER maintain a set temperature automatically
A: Yes. DeLonghi TCH8993ER has a built-in thermostat that helps hold the room at the chosen temperature rather than heating flat out continuously. It is better for steady background warmth than manually switching between power levels yourself.
Q: Does this heater need Wi-Fi or an app
A: No. DeLonghi TCH8993ER is not Wi-Fi enabled, and all key functions are handled on the unit or with the included remote control. That includes changing the power setting, adjusting temperature, and using the 24-hour timer without an app.
