Works great!
The automatic door function is the best! Quick cycle; cleans well, good stacking options; fits lots of items and cleans well even when fully stacked. Great dishwasher!

Good one
I was after a black dishwasher, bought Bosch appliances but the dishwasher on that brand looks like old style, more like an old washing machine curved shape, and this one had a nice look. The buttons look cheap like they won’t last long so I paid the extra guarantee just in case. I like that it has automatic opening after every cycle and is working perfectly so far. Good price when on sale. Only downside is I had to order it and wait for two weeks, if it wasn’t because I happened to ask at the store (Tsv) how my order was going, I’d be still waiting because they said my order had never been processed which was extremely disappointing. My luck was there was one item waiting for pick up from someone else and they gave it to me after enough complaining.

Things to consider
It covers the essentials well, but premium dishwashers may offer more wash programs, lower noise output and more advanced internal layouts.

High - the 15 place setting capacity and flexible basket layout make it a strong fit for regular family-sized loads
Energy efficiency score
8/10 - 4 star energy rating, 5 star WELS rating and 12.2L water use per wash support efficient everyday use
Ease of loading rating
8/10 - adjustable height baskets, foldable cup racks and a removable cutlery basket make loading varied items easier

Key benefits
- 15 Place Settings: Handles larger daily loads in one cycle, making it well suited to medium to larger households.
- Adjustable Height Baskets: Lets you create space for taller items, larger pots or awkward dishware more easily.
- Foldable Cup Racks: Adds loading flexibility for cups, glasses and small kitchen items.
- Removable Cutlery Basket: Makes it easier to adjust the lower rack layout for different load types.
- Automatic Door Opening: Opens at the end of the cycle to help release moisture and improve drying results.
- Wi-Fi Connectivity: Allows remote control and alerts through the companion app for added day-to-day convenience.
- 47dBA Operation: Runs quietly enough to suit open-plan kitchens and shared living spaces.

Q: Will this Haier dishwasher fit in a standard 60cm kitchen space?
A: Yes, in most full-size dishwasher spaces. Haier HDW15F2B1 is 597mm wide, 599mm deep and 850 to 895mm high, so it suits a standard 60cm position, but allow extra room for the door swing, hoses and levelling on uneven floors.
Q: Can I control the HDW15F2B1 from my phone over Wi-Fi?
A: Yes. Haier HDW15F2B1 connects to Wi-Fi for remote cycle control and alerts through the SmartHQ app. It still needs to be loaded and detergent added by hand, so the app is mainly useful for starting, checking and monitoring a cycle.
Q: Does the auto door open feature help with drying plastics?
A: Yes. The door opens automatically at the end of the cycle to release moisture, and the +Dry modifier adds extra drying support that is useful for plastics. It improves drying results, but tightly nested plastic containers can still hold some water.
Q: How flexible are the baskets for large plates and tall glasses?
A: Haier HDW15F2B1 has an adjustable upper basket, foldable cup racks and a removable cutlery basket, so it can be arranged for taller items and mixed loads. It does not use a separate cutlery drawer, so the basket takes up some lower-rack space.
Q: Is 47dBA quiet enough for an open-plan kitchen?
A: Yes. Haier HDW15F2B1 runs at 47dBA, which is quiet enough for many open-plan kitchens and normal conversation nearby. It is not an ultra-quiet level, so the wash sound may still be noticeable if you run it during a movie or late at night.
Q: What does the Sanitise modifier do on this dishwasher?
A: The Sanitise option is an extra wash modifier for loads that need a more hygienic finish than a standard cycle alone. It is a modifier, not a separate everyday program, so it is best used when hygiene matters more than getting through a load quickly.
