Pretty good for the price
I purchased this machine when I was purchasing a dryer. Primary reason for purchase was that I was looking to stack and found this machine to be quick good value for money. The Good Guys had a great deal going at the time. I am moving away from a top loader workhorse that still works after 16 years. The wash quality on this machine is reasonable,lly good. It is front loader and also stackable. It has plenty of different modes for different quality fabrics and clothing, I purchased the 8.5KG variant so it was an upgrade from a volume perspective. There are a few things to call out though, such as it only has cold water inlet and heats the water internally (no separate hot water inlet). Based on my experience with dishwashers, over time (5 or so years) the heater element might fail resulting in uneconomical repairs resulting in replacement. Although there is a compatible stacking kit available, it requires screwing directly on top of the machine using the included self tapping screws (there were no screw holes predrilled). It might be better to use a stacking mat. It is quite noisy when draining water. I have purchased this recently so cannot comment on longevity much but overall for an entry level washing machine, I think it's pretty good value for money. I have already recommended it to a friend. Fingers crossed it lasts me longer.

Awesome Dryer
First time owner and user of a heat pump dryer. Very impressed with this Haier dryer. The clothes come out feeling softer than a traditional dryer and so far there have been no shrinkages...lol. I've always avoided putting t-shirts and other items in a dryer due to shrinkage but have tried with the Haier just "to see" and so far so good. The machine is quiet and efficient. It collects the water from the drying process in a built-in container (which needs emptying after every cycle...not difficult to do). Amazing how much water there is and no condensation on your walls!. The filters (yes multiple) are also highly efficient. Overall very impressed with this Haier and also with the whole "heat pump dryer" experience.
