Great Product!
Super easy to understand instructions and use. I love the automatic feature that adds just enough water for individual sizes of washing loads. The quick cycle is great for everyday washing of baby clothes and bibs etc.

At a glance

Its strengths are the generous 10kg drum, useful everyday programs and solid 4.5 star energy rating. It suits standard laundries well, but the 720rpm maximum spin speed is lower than some premium models, so clothes may come out a little wetter.

Things to consider
Its 720rpm maximum spin speed is lower than some premium top loaders, so drying times can be longer after heavier washes.
Large family suitability
9/10 - 10kg capacity and programs for towels, sheets and bulky items make it a strong fit for family-sized laundry needs.
Quick wash performance score
7/10 - Express 30 is useful for smaller everyday loads, though this model is not built as a high-speed specialist washer.
Laundry space fit
Best suited to a standard laundry area; the 61cm width and 62cm depth make it practical for typical home installations.
Water efficiency vs category
8/10 - a 4 star WELS rating and 102L per wash cycle indicate good water efficiency for a 10kg top load washer.
Key benefits
- 10kg Capacity: Handles large family loads and bulky items like towels, sheets and mixed washing in one cycle.
- 12 Wash Programs: Gives you flexible settings for everyday loads, delicates, woollens and bulky items.
- Express 30 Program: Provides a faster wash option for lighter loads when you need clothes cleaned in less time.
- Auto Load Sensing and Balancing: Helps adjust to load size and manage uneven loads for more convenient day-to-day washing.
- 4.5 Star Energy Rating: Delivers solid energy efficiency for a large-capacity top loader under the Australian star rating system.
- 4 Star WELS Water Rating: Uses 102L per wash cycle, offering good water efficiency for its size.
- Delay Start: Lets you schedule washes to better fit your household routine.
- Soft Close Lid: Makes loading and unloading gentler and more convenient in everyday use.
Q: What are the dimensions of the Haier HWT10ANB1 top load washer?
A: The Haier HWT10ANB1 measures 1045mm high, 610mm wide and 620mm deep. Those dimensions help when checking laundry spacing for a top loader, especially if you need enough room above the machine for the soft-close lid to open fully.
Q: Is the Haier HWT10ANB1 a good size for large family loads or bulky items?
A: Yes. Its 10kg capacity suits bigger household loads and bulky items such as towels, sheets and many doonas or blankets. It is a practical fit for families who want fewer wash cycles, but very heavy single items should still be balanced carefully.
Q: How quiet is the Haier HWT10ANB1 when washing?
A: It is designed to run more quietly than a basic belt-driven top loader because it uses a Direct Motion direct drive motor with fewer moving parts. That can mean less vibration and motor noise in everyday use, especially on regular cotton or mixed loads.
Q: Does the 720rpm spin speed on the Haier HWT10ANB1 dry clothes well enough?
A: Yes, 720rpm will remove a solid amount of water, so everyday clothes should come out less wet than at lower spin speeds. It will not extract moisture as aggressively as many front loaders, so thicker items can still need longer on the line or in a dryer.
Q: Does the Haier HWT10ANB1 have a cycle for more hygienic washing?
A: Yes. This model includes a Hygiene wash cycle as well as options such as Soak and Soiled Plus for tougher loads. It is useful when you want a more intensive wash for items like towels or heavily worn clothes, alongside standard cotton and quick cycles.
Q: What helps the Haier HWT10ANB1 handle uneven or off-balance loads?
A: The HWT10ANB1 can automatically correct unbalanced wash loads, which helps reduce interruptions and keeps the cycle running more smoothly. This is especially useful with mixed garments or bulky pieces that can shift to one side during the spin stage.
