From the moment you get your new product home, Gold Service Extras provides certainty and support through a range of benefits and inclusions ensuring you are back up and running with a working product in no time. If your product is faulty, you may be entitled to a free remedy under the manufacturer’s warranty and The Good Guys’ Minimum Voluntary Warranty (including during the period of your Gold Service Extras membership). Even if you do not purchase Gold Service Extras, you may also have rights under the Australian Consumer Law to a free remedy (even after expiry of the manufacturer’s warranty and The Good Guys’ Minimum Voluntary Warranty). STRESS-FREE SUPPORT AND PERSONAL SERVICE
From day one your dedicated support team will look after any product assessments or repairs, arrange replacement products, automatic reimbursements claims, and more.
Simple replacement of products $500 or less
A faulty product valued at $500 or less will be replaced so you don’t have to wait for it to be repaired. Simply call the Member Support Team to arrange for an assessment to verify the fault. Once confirmed, a replacement product will be organised for you.
Repair period guaranteed
If your product repair takes longer than 20 business days from when we inspect or receive it, you’ll be eligible to have it replaced with an equivalent product. If you’d prefer to continue with a repair, you may request $100 90 Day StoreCash> instead.
In-home Repairs for Larger Items
The Member Support Team will organise a repairer to come to your home to repair large appliances. If the repair can’t be completed in your home, arrangements will be made to transport, fix, and return the product to you once the repair is completed.
Transferable Service
If you decide to sell or give away your appliance, you can transfer the time remaining on your Gold Service Extras to the new owner at no cost. This excludes any 90 Day StoreCash> and Gold Service Extras Benefits owed to you.
No Lemon Guarantee
If your enrolled product requires more than two repairs during the life of your plan, we will offer you an equivalent replacement at your request.
$100 Essential Appliance 90 Day StoreCash>
$100 90 Day StoreCash> is available on request if you have an essential appliance that can’t be repaired within 10 business days of the product being assessed. Available for fridges, washing machines, TVs, dishwashers, ovens, cooktops, and split system air-conditioners.
Food Spoilage Allowance
A $100 Payment Card is available on request for food spoilage caused by a verified fault with your fridge.
Laundry Allowance
A $100 Payment Card is available on request to cover laundry costs caused by a verified fault with your washing machine.

Gold Service Extras 30 Day Price Guarantee∆ offers Gold Service Extras members a guarantee that if the advertised price of their product drops at either The Good Guys or an approved competitor within 30 days of their purchase, they have the option to claim 120% of the difference back as Store Credit
To make a Gold Service Extras 30 Day Price Guarantee∆ claim, you must have purchased a product with Gold Service Extras and lodged a claim within 30 days of your purchase date. Evidence of the lower advertised price must be provided at the time the claim is made and include the date of the advertisement. You can simply supply a screenshot or attach an image of the lower price to validate your 30 Day Price Guarantee∆ claim. We will verify the price is current and that the item is available for immediate sale and delivery.
In most cases, eligible claims, will receive the price difference back as Store Credit within five business days, via SMS or email. Please make sure you supply your correct email address and a mobile number on the claim form.
Sometimes 30 Day Price Guarantee∆ claims are not able to be approved. This could be because your claim was made outside the 30-day period or because we were unable to verify the price evidence submitted. Whatever the reason, you will receive an email from the Member Support Team to advise that the claim has been unsuccessful.

Your Store Credit will be valid for 90 days from the date of issue. You can use your Store Credit towards the purchase of most products at The Good Guys online or in store but some exclusions do apply including gift cards, digital vouchers, Data Plans, and brands sold and shipped by Suppliers where The Good Guys acts as an agent. Gold Service Extras 30 Day Price Guarantee∆ claims are not available for percentage off and other sales events offered by The Good Guys and The Good Guys Gold Service Extras, bonus offers, limited or minimum quantity offers, clearance and items sold on marketplace websites such as eBay and Amazon or any brand it sells on behalf of a third party supplier under an agency agreement.
Products from the approved competitor list (below) for which a claim is made, must be the same brand and model and offer a warranty issued by the manufacturer which is applicable in Australia. The price must be in Australian dollars and include all fees, taxes or other charges such as shipping.
