The Good Guys Store Credits
STORE CREDIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Store Credits expire 90 days after they are sent unless otherwise stated. The expiry date of Store Credits can be found in the email or SMS in which it was sent.
Store Credit can be used to pay for purchases made at any The Good Guys store, The Good Guys phone sales line and www.thegoodguys.com.au. Store Credits cannot be used on The Good Guys eBay store or The Good Guys Commercial website.
A Store Credit is unique and can only be redeemed once in a single transaction.
Cash or credit will not be given for any unused balance of a Store Credit.
Store Credit cannot be exchanged (wholly or partly) for cash.
Where goods that have been purchased using a Store Credit are returned, a Store Credit equal to the value of the Store Credit applied to the original purchase will be issued.
Store Credit cannot be used to purchase: gift cards, digital vouchers (including Spotify, Netflix, gaming cards, software subscriptions or mobile phone recharges), The Good Guys Mobile and Home Broadband/ Data Plans, Mobile Extras and cannot be used to purchase brands sold and shipped by Suppliers where The Good Guys acts as an agent.
A maximum of 2 Store Credits can be applied in one transaction.
STORE CREDIT FAQS
Customers who purchased Gold Service Extras prior to 5th September 2022 (and who have not activated a 90 Day StoreCash> Digital Wallet), receive 3 x $20 Store Credits per 12 months of their plan, up to a maximum of $180 each 12 months for customers with multiple Gold Service Extras plans.
Please note: Customers who purchased a Gold Service Extras membership prior to the 5th of September 2022 (and who have not activated a 90 Day StoreCash> Digital wallet) receive Store Credits as part of their benefits. From the 16th November 2023, when Gold Service Extras members receive a Store Credit as part of their Gold Service Extras benefits, they’ll enjoy a 90-day expiry.

Store Credits can be used in store, over the phone and online at The Good Guys, but please note – The Good Guys Store Credits cannot be used on eBay, for commercial sales or via PayPal Express Check out.
In Store
When you are in-store, simply present your Store Credit email or SMS to one of our friendly Team Members and they will apply the value of the store credit to your order.
Over the Phone
When making a purchase by phone, simply tell the friendly Team Member your Store Credit details and they will apply the value of the store credit to your order.
Online
For online purchases (maximum 2 Store Credits per transaction):
Add all of the items you want to purchase to your cart.
At checkout, click - Pay using Gift Card or Store Credit.
Enter the Store Credit and pin number you received in the SMS or email. The valid Store Credit amount will be automatically deducted from your in-cart total

Goods that have been purchased using Store Credits and are returned will be issued a Store Credit to the value of the Store Credit used.

Yes. Each Store Credit has a single-use bar code, so just make sure you give it to one family member or friend to use.
In order to use your Store Credit online you must enter your Store Credit details at the Cart Overview page.
Troubleshooting tips:
You can only use two Store Credits online per transaction.
Don’t accidentally ‘lock’ your Store Credit! Once you enter your Store Credit code and PIN in the cart the system holds this balance ready for your purchase – effectively ‘locking it’. Don’t worry –your Store Credit automatically unlocks within a few hours.

No worries! We can assist you with retrieving your Store Credit however we will require your first, last name and your mobile number. These details can be sent to us by clicking here and we will assist you as soon as possible.
Each Store Credit has a dated period of validity. Unfortunately, once this date has expired, we are unable to extend these credits.
When using Paypal – it’s very important that before you enter your Store Credit details that you have popped everything you would like to purchase in your cart. If you go to the PayPal payment gateway and have forgotten to add something to your cart and go back to The Good Guys website, your Store Credit will be locked and you will not be able to use it. If this happens to you, don’t worry – simply come back again in 24hrs and your credit will be unlocked and ready to use.
