The buying process was a breeze—straightforward, no fuss, just picked it up and was out the door in no time. Setting it up at home was equally simple, the app guided me through every step, and within minutes, both cameras were connected to the HomeBase 2 and ready to go. The kit feels solid and well-made, like a proper piece of quality gear that’s built to last. Right from the start, the cameras worked flawlessly, delivering clear video and reliable notifications. It’s refreshing to have such a user-friendly, no-nonsense security solution that just works! Note: If you live in a rental or don't like drilling holes into walls, head to Bunning's and snap up couple of universal fit "Orion Security Camera Mount Clamp" for $13 dollars that allow you to screw into your camera and clip onto a roof gutter. Ya welcome.

Great product, easy setup
This system is super easy to setup and use. You just download the app and follow the prompts. I also got the doorbell separately and added to the homebase as well. Video quality is pretty good, although details can sometimes be tricky to make out on fast motion items e.g. reading the number plate of a car (speed is only about 5kms). The AI recognition works as far as detecting people and cars etc, but it does struggle to tell people apart. So far almost every person it has detected gets tagged as the same person. Cross-camera tracking is also handy and its stitched together video clip is good. Solar charging works but does require the camera to really get a good hit of sun to charge. One of my cameras only gets partial direct sun which isn’t enough to charge. The motion detection can be a bit hit and miss I have found. Depending on the direction something walks across the cameras view, it may not actually catch it. Changing sensitivity hasn’t really made a difference to this. Only draw back is that the max video clip record time seems to be limited to 2mins. If your after something that has longer or continuous record options this may not be right for you. For the money and easy of use it’s pretty good, does what we wanted.
