Awesome Unit
I like this product because it links all my devices together. The system storage can be upgraded and expanded from 16GB to 16TB when needed, which is more than my previous model.

Worth the upgrade
With features that’s not available in homebase2 such as AI facial recognition capabilities, able to link ‘solo’ devices which the previous model couldn’t, expandable storage with hard drives, and more, this makes the upgrade worthy. Probably the only downside is not having a backup battery which homebase2 has, but it is easily solved by adding an UPS.

Eufy’s home camera system is a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable, easy-to-use security solution. The video quality is sharp, with 1080p or 2K resolution and great night vision, plus the wide-angle lenses cover a lot of ground. Setting it up is a breeze through the Eufy Security app, and I love that you can store footage locally, so there are no subscription fees. The motion detection works well, and the two-way audio is a nice touch for talking to visitors or keeping an eye on things.

Eufy HomeBase 3 - Good product with potential
Overall I have good things to say about the Eufy Home Base 3. Coming from the previous HB2, this is definitely an improvement in terms of facial recognition and additional features it supports. Familiar faes can be assigned, filters work well and with the latest generation of 4K cameras. Few things can be still improved including facial recognition, vehicle nunber plate recognition and filtering (not available yet) and some features about the facial recognition and assignment.
