Solar panel is good had to plug in solar as it got disconnected with storm a little lagging sometimes and depending on service, sometimes encryption takes a little while to load. Easy to sync to phone and app.

Great camera
I’m extremely happy with the Eufy SoloCam S340. The video quality is outstanding with great clarity and sharpness, making it easy to see details both during the day and night. The pan and tilt function works really smoothly and covers a wide area, which is a big plus. The battery life is excellent, especially when connected to the solar panel — it keeps the camera well-charged with no maintenance required. Truly a set-and-forget solution. I’m also very happy with Eufy’s local storage and the notification system. Alerts are accurate and timely, and the fact that there’s no subscription makes it even better.

Simple and it works
This was a very easy install. Just need to place it at an angle to the driveway and front door. Ensure you are thinking about the trigger zones as you locate where to put it. And also where the solar panel needs to be to optimise the charging. Once installed the app is reasonably simple to use. Need to delete the footage regularly to save a bit of space. Been working well in all conditions for a few weeks now. I believe there is a newer model out now.
