Q: Which Epson printers are compatible with the T512 Magenta EcoTank Ink Bottle?
A: The Epson T512 Magenta bottle is listed for the EcoTank Photo ET-7700 and EcoTank Photo ET-7750. It is designed for these refill-tank models, so it is not the right choice for Epson cartridge printers or other EcoTank ink series.
Q: Is the Epson T512 Magenta a cartridge or a refill bottle?
A: It is a refill bottle for selected Epson EcoTank printers, not an ink cartridge. That matters if you are replacing supplies in an ET-7700 or ET-7750, because those models use refillable tanks rather than clip-in cartridges.
Q: Can the Epson T512 Magenta ink bottle be used with Epson 003 ink printers?
A: No. T512 is a different ink series and is made for the EcoTank Photo ET-7700 and ET-7750 listed for this bottle. Epson bottles are colour keyed for specific tanks, so a 003-series printer needs its matching 003 bottle instead.
Q: Is the magenta ink in the Epson T512 bottle dye ink or pigment ink?
A: The magenta ink in the T512 range is dye ink. Epson states this 5-cartridge system uses 4 colour dye inks and 1 pigment black, which suits mixed photo and document printing rather than a full set of pigment-based colour inks.
Q: What does the auto stop, uniquely keyed bottle design do on the Epson T512 Magenta?
A: It helps reduce filling mistakes by matching each bottle to the correct tank and stopping the flow automatically during refilling. That makes the T512 bottle easier to use than a generic pour-in bottle and helps limit spills or mix-ups.
