Dyson spot + scrub review
Great product with salesman was very quick and efficient, and there was someone explaining about it there that knew exactly about the Dyson products. Got it home and it was so easy to set up and work to treat vacuums really well and mops really well, even gets under the beds, which you can never do yourself normally with a normal vacuum five stars for this vacuum and no bags to change.

It’s good robot vacuum
Overall, I’m happy with the vacuum cleaner. The cleaning performance is good and it does a great job with regular vacuuming and mopping. However, I noticed that it makes some noise when starting the mopping function. Also, the cleaning around corners and edges could be better, as it doesn’t reach these areas very well.

Excellent robot vacuum – very impressed!
I recently purchased the Dyson robot vacuum from The Good Guys and have been very happy with it. The cleaning performance is excellent, and it does a great job picking up dust, dirt and everyday mess around the house. The navigation is smart and efficient, and it’s been great having the floors cleaned with minimal effort. The Dyson app is also easy to use, making it convenient to schedule and monitor cleaning. The overall build quality feels premium, as you would expect from Dyson. The purchasing experience at The Good Guys was also smooth and hassle-free. Overall, a fantastic addition to our home and definitely worth the investment. Highly recommended!

Key benefits
- AI stain detection: Identifies spills and stains, then adapts cleaning power to target the mess more effectively.
- Repeat-clean function: Rechecks the floor and can continue cleaning up to 15 times to improve stain removal results.
- Self-cleaning wet roller: Cleans itself on every rotation to keep washing more hygienic during use.
- Heated water washing: Uses water heated to 60 °C at the dock to help loosen stubborn stains on hard floors.
- Carpet boost mode: In Auto Mode, suction increases by 35% when carpet fibres are detected for stronger carpet cleaning.
- Anti-tangle pickup: Removes long hair and pet hair without tangling, reducing manual brush cleaning.
- DToF LiDAR navigation: Scans the room 7 times per second for more accurate mapping and navigation.
- Low-maintenance operation: Offers up to 100 days of maintenance-free use based on Dyson internal test data.
Q: Does the wet roller clean carpets or only hard floors?
A: No. Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai washes hard floors with a self-cleaning wet roller. When it detects carpet fibres, it boosts suction by 35% in Auto Mode instead of washing, so stain scrubbing is for sealed hard floors.
Q: How does it deal with dried-on stains and repeat passes?
A: Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai checks the floor and can continue cleaning a stain up to 15 times before moving on. That suits marks that need more than one pass, but results still vary with the type and severity of the stain.
Q: What does up to 100 days maintenance free actually mean?
A: Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai is designed for low day-to-day upkeep for up to 100 days under Dyson internal test conditions. Actual time varies with cleaning habits, how often it runs, the debris collected and the floor types in the home.
Q: Will the Dyson robot vacuum suit mixed carpet and hard floors?
A: Yes. Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai vacuums across carpets and hard floors, then adapts when carpet fibres are detected by boosting suction 35% in Auto Mode. Its wet stain-washing function is aimed at hard floors rather than carpet.
Q: How does the heated water washing help with stubborn floor marks?
A: Dyson Spot+Scrub Ai heats water to 60°C at the dock to help loosen stubborn marks during hard-floor washing. It is designed to aid stain removal, not guarantee every mark will clear in one pass or on every floor finish.
Q: Can it keep washing with cleaner water instead of spreading mess?
A: Yes. The wet roller cleans itself on every rotation, so the robot keeps applying cleaner water as it washes hard floors. That helps on fresh spills and everyday grime, but heavily soiled areas can still need more than one pass.
