Our second Dyson standing fan!
No other fan has the aesthetics like this one. Plus it's really lightweight, installs in seconds and having a control range from 1-10 really helps. Love being able to control it remotely too!

Q: Does the Dyson AM07 White/Silver need filter replacements?
A: No. The AM07 is a cooling tower fan, not a purifying model, so it does not use a replaceable air filter. That means there is no ongoing filter change cost, but it also is not designed to remove dust, smoke or allergens from the air.
Q: Is the Dyson AM07 a cooling-only fan, or can it also heat or purify?
A: The Dyson AM07 is a cooling-only tower fan. It is designed to circulate air for personal cooling, but it does not heat the room and it is not a purifier, so buyers wanting year-round heating or air treatment should look at a different Dyson range.
Q: How is the Dyson AM07 controlled in everyday use?
A: The AM07 is designed to be operated mainly with its supplied remote, which stores on the fan. That is convenient for changing settings from across the room, but if the remote is misplaced, everyday control can be more restrictive than on fans with full onboard buttons.
Q: Is the bladeless design on the Dyson AM07 easier to clean than a standard fan?
A: Yes. Because the AM07 has no exposed spinning blades or grille, the outer surfaces are simpler to wipe down than many pedestal or tower fans. It still needs regular dusting around the air outlet and base, but there are fewer awkward parts to clean.
Q: What does the Dyson AM07 airflow multiplier design mean in real use?
A: It means the AM07 draws air in through the base and projects a steady stream from the loop, rather than blowing through visible blades.
Q: Is the Dyson AM07 better suited to bedrooms than a standard fan?
A: It can be a good bedroom option because it has a sleep timer and no exposed blades, which helps with overnight use and placement. It still cools by circulating existing room air, so comfort will depend on room temperature and the fan speed selected.
