At a glance
The Dreame T16 Pro Triforce is a premium hard floor cleaner that vacuums and wet cleans sealed floors in one pass. It suits busy family homes, especially with pets or children, thanks to smart dirt sensing, steam cleaning and anti-tangle performance. Its slim body helps reach under low furniture. One limitation is that it is designed for sealed hard floors rather than carpet-focused cleaning.
What it’s great for
- Sealed hard floor cleaning
- Pet mess cleanup
- Kitchen floor washing
- Under-furniture cleaning
- Mixed everyday spills
- Family home maintenance
Where it works best
- Family homes
- Apartments
- Kitchens
- Dining areas
- Hallways
- Open-plan living spaces
Who it’s for
- Pet owners

- Apartment dwellers
- Homeowners with sealed hard floors
Things to consider
Best suited to sealed hard floors, so homes needing deep carpet cleaning or a broader all-surface solution may still want a dedicated vacuum or carpet cleaner.
Pet hair performance score
9/10 - TangleCut 2.0 is specifically built for dense pet fur and long hair, making it a strong fit for pet households.
Allergy suitability
Good for homes needing regular removal of dirty water, dust and everyday mess from sealed hard floors, though it is not presented as a specialist allergy purifier.
Ease of use rating
8.5/10 - One-pass vacuum and wash cleaning, smart adjustment and self-cleaning simplify routine floor care.
Noise level vs category
Typical for a premium wet and dry hard floor cleaner
Floor type compatibility
Sealed hard floors including kitchen floors and other smooth household hard floor surfaces
Key benefits
- Wet and Dry Cleaning: Vacuums debris and washes sealed hard floors in one pass to reduce separate cleaning steps.
- 200 °C Steam Cleaning: High-temperature steam helps loosen greasy residue and stubborn mess on hard floors.
- 90 °C Hot Water Washing: Hot water brush washing helps lift dirty water and maintain cleaner floor contact during use.
- Multispectral Dirt Sensor: Detects different mess types and adjusts suction, water and cleaning solution delivery for each cleaning session.
- Ultra-Slim 9.85 cm Body: Reaches under low lounges, beds and cabinets more easily than bulkier floor cleaners.
- TangleCut 2.0 Scraper: Built to handle dense pet fur and long hair with less wrapping around the brush roll.
- Self-Cleaning System: Automatically washes the brush roll with hot water to reduce manual cleanup after use.
- Heat Drying: Dries the brush roll after self-cleaning to help reduce residual moisture before the next use.
Q: Can the T16 Pro be used on timber and laminate floors?
A: Yes, on sealed timber, laminate and similar hard floors. Dreame T16 Pro is designed for sealed surfaces where vacuuming, washing and steam cleaning are appropriate, but it is not intended for carpet, rugs or unsealed floors.
Q: Is the steam function mainly for sticky kitchen mess and grease?
A: Yes. Dreame T16 Pro uses 200 degrees C steam with 90 degrees C hot water washing to loosen greasy or sticky residue on sealed hard floors. It is a hard-floor cleaning function, not a substitute for carpet or upholstery steam cleaning.
Q: How does the dirt sensor change cleaning on different messes?
A: Dreame T16 Pro uses a multispectral dirt sensor to detect different mess types, then adjusts suction, water and cleaning solution delivery to suit the floor condition. That helps when a room has both dry debris and wet residue.
Q: Does TangleCut 2.0 stop long hair wrapping around the brush?
A: Yes, that is what it is designed for. Dreame T16 Pro uses a TangleCut 2.0 scraper built to handle dense pet fur and long hair with less wrapping, though very heavy hair loads can still mean occasional brush checks are needed.
Q: Will the slim body fit under most lounges and beds?
A: Yes, in many homes. Dreame T16 Pro has a 9.85 cm body, which is built to reach under lower lounges, beds and cabinets more easily than bulkier wet cleaners, though furniture with less clearance than that will still block access.
Q: What does the self-cleaning system do after each floor wash?
A: After cleaning, Dreame T16 Pro automatically washes the brush roll with hot water and then heat dries it. That reduces hands-on cleanup compared with rinsing the roller manually, but it does not remove every maintenance step on its own.
