Great little fan!
I love this fan. A friend of mine had one, and I loved it so much that I had to get one for myself. It's quiet, and the 360 degree spin function does a great job of circulating the air.

Things to consider

Personal cooling effectiveness
8/10 - strong for a compact unit thanks to air circulation up to 20 m and adjustable airflow direction.
Noise level score
6/10 - no published noise rating, but manual air circulators can be more noticeable at higher speed settings.
Desk space suitability
8/10 - compact, lightweight design suits desks and side tables in smaller rooms.
Energy efficiency rating
No published Australian Energy Rating star rating
Portability score
9/10 - at 1.8 kg, it is easy to move from room to room as needed.
Key benefits
- 20 m Air Throw: Helps move air across a wider area so stale or uneven air is reduced in small rooms.
- 360 Degree Oscillation: Circulates air around the room rather than focusing airflow in just one direction.
- 90 Degree Upward Pivot: Lets you angle airflow upward to help distribute cooled or heated air more evenly.
- Manual Controls: Makes speed and airflow adjustments straightforward directly on the unit.
- Two Speed Settings: Gives you a simple choice between gentler airflow and stronger circulation.
- 1.8 kg Lightweight Design: Easy to carry between rooms when you need airflow in different spaces.
- Compact Desktop Size: Fits more easily on desks, side tables or shelves in smaller rooms.
- All-Season Air Circulation: Useful for keeping air moving whether you are distributing cooled air in summer or heated air in cooler months.
Q: How is this Dimplex air circulator different from a standard pedestal or desk fan?
A: It is designed to keep air moving around the room rather than only blowing straight at one spot. That makes it better for circulating cooled or heated air more evenly, while a standard fan is usually best for direct personal airflow.
Q: Can this air circulator be used in winter as well as summer?
A: Yes. An air circulator is intended for year-round use because it helps move existing warm or cool air through the room. It does not heat the room itself, but it can help heated air feel more evenly distributed during winter.
Q: What does manual control mean on this Dimplex air circulator?
A: Manual controls mean settings are adjusted directly on the unit instead of by app or remote. This suits buyers who want simple operation, but it also means you need to be near the circulator to change speed or airflow settings.
Q: Is this model mainly for personal cooling or for moving air through a room?
A: It is better suited to moving air through a room than acting like a direct breeze fan aimed only at one person. That makes it useful for improving overall air movement, especially in spaces where air can otherwise feel still or uneven.
