Set and relax knowing that you have a solution to internal moisture on the windows! Very easy to set the humidity level you want for the room. Press start. Automatically switches off when water container is full. Peace of mind when you empty the container next day! Sweet!

The product works well takes away a lot of water in the air, Emptied Sunday and very full by Tuesday, been very humid lately so when you see the tank full of water you know it is working. At a glance
The DeLonghi Tasciugo AriaDry Multi 16L is a mid-range dehumidifier for bedrooms, laundries, studies and small open-plan spaces up to 75 m3. Its main strengths are solid 16 L daily moisture removal, useful laundry drying support and three-stage filtration for cleaner-feeling air. It is easy to move and simple to empty, but the 2.1 L tank may need frequent emptying in very damp conditions.
What it’s great for
- Everyday moisture control
- Laundry drying support
- Reducing condensation
- Managing musty odours
- Bedroom and apartment use
- Allergy-conscious households
Where it works best

- Damp interior rooms
Who it’s for
- Apartment dweller
- Small home owner
- Family household
- Allergy-conscious user
- Anyone dealing with condensation
- Anyone drying clothes indoors
Things to consider
The 2.1 L water tank is modest for a 16 L/day unit, so in very damp rooms you may need to empty it more often than larger-capacity or continuous-drain focused alternatives.
Large room suitability
Suitable for rooms up to 75 m3
Laundry drying effectiveness
Good for indoor clothes drying, with dedicated Laundry mode and 16 L/24 h moisture extraction
Noise level vs category average
7/10 - 40 dBA is relatively quiet for a compressor dehumidifier in this class
Energy efficiency score
6/10 - strong 16 L/24 h moisture removal, but no published star rating or specific energy-saving mode is noted
Allergy relief rating
8/10 - three-stage filtration with dust, BioSilver and AntiAllergy filters adds meaningful air-cleaning support
Key benefits
- 16 L moisture removal: Removes up to 16 litres of moisture in 24 hours to help control condensation and dampness in everyday living spaces.
- 75 m3 room coverage: Well suited to bedrooms, laundries, studies and other rooms up to 75 m3.
- Three-stage filtration: Dust, BioSilver and AntiAllergy filters help reduce airborne particles while the unit dehumidifies.
- Laundry mode: Adds targeted drying support for clothes when drying indoors is slower due to humid conditions.
- 40 dBA noise level: Operates at a relatively quiet 40 dBA, making it easier to use in bedrooms or study areas.
- Integrated handles: Makes it easier to move the unit from room to room as humidity changes through the home.
- 12-hour timer: Lets you schedule operation around sleep, work hours or laundry cycles for more convenient day-to-day use.
- 2.1 L tank: Simple to remove and empty for routine moisture control without a complicated setup.
Q: Is the DeLonghi DEXD216RF suitable for drying clothes indoors?
A: Yes. The DeLonghi DEXD216RF includes a laundry humidistat, so it is designed for spaces where extra moisture builds up from wet clothes. Continuous drainage is useful for longer drying sessions, so the tank does not need to be emptied as often.
Q: Do I have to keep emptying the tank on the DeLonghi DEXD216RF?
A: No. This model has a 2.1L water tank for normal use, and it also supports continuous drainage for longer runs in damp rooms or during laundry drying. That gives more flexibility if moisture levels stay high through the day.
Q: What size room is the DeLonghi DEXD216RF best suited to?
A: The DeLonghi DEXD216RF is suited to spaces up to 75m3, which makes it a practical fit for many bedrooms, studies and smaller living areas. For larger open-plan spaces, moisture removal can feel more localised if doors or zones stay open.
Q: What do the dust, BioSilver and AntiAllergy filters do on this dehumidifier?
A: These filters are there to help trap airborne particles while the unit removes moisture from the room. They add air-filtration support, but they are separate from the dehumidifying function, so humidity control still depends on room size and dampness.
Q: Is the DeLonghi DEXD216RF easy to move from room to room?
A: Yes. The DeLonghi DEXD216RF has integrated handles, which makes it easier to carry between rooms when dampness shifts through the home. It is still a floor-standing unit, so it suits occasional repositioning rather than constant portable use.
